This plugin logs various activities in WordPress:
* User logins and logouts
* Post and page creation, updates, trashing, and permanent deletion
* Plugin activation, deactivation, and deletion
* Filter logs: Login / Logout, Plugins, Publications, Users,

Installation

Upload the activitylog folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
A new “Activity Log” menu will appear in the admin area. View logs there.

Where is the log file stored?

The log file (activitylog.txt) is stored in the plugin directory.

How do I change how long logs are kept?

Use the “Retention (days)” setting on the Activity Log Settings page.
