A WordPress Plugin to mark your Affiliate Links with a *, add rel="nofollow sponsored noopener" to affiliate links and attach a disclosure at the end of every post which contains at least one affiliate link.

You can manage your own list of affiliate tracking domains or URL parts (used to detect affiliate links) and change the disclosure text.

Works great with Multisites. If activated networkwide, you can manage your affiliate domains from your Network Admin Area and the disclosure (e.g. translated) for every single page.

The following Affiliate Networks with the corresponding tracking domains are supported out of the box (but you can add your own or remove unused):

  1. Upload the folder affiliate-marker to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Settings Affiliate Marker and add your own affiliate domains or change the default disclosure.
  4. Add an affiliate link to one of your post and you’ll see the * in the front end next to the link and the disclosure at the end of your post.

Can I change the style of the disclosure?

There is a CSS applied to the disclosure affiliate-marker-disclosure. You can change e.g. the font size with some custom CSS .affiliate-marker-disclosure { font-size: small; }.

Does it work with JavaScript tracking code?

It only works with HTML <a href=""> links, not with crazy JavaScript tracking code like onclick="..."

This is a must for any WordPress website that contains a lot of affiliate links. It saves having to manually add a disclaimer to every page or post with affiliate links inside of it.

This plugin is an absolute must in Germany if you place affiliate links on your site.

It works absolutely perfectly and you can add any affiliate link that exists or will exist.

It is clearly laid out and reduced to the essentials, the operation does not pose any puzzles.

Visually, it's an absolute boon among all the junk plugins that want to sell you a "pro version", come with colourful interfaces and pointless graphs and are otherwise just for show. It only does what it's supposed to do. Reduce to the max!

The support is to die for. Within a few hours (sometimes minutes!) you get a precise answer to your problem in the support forum.

Johannes knows his plugin and WordPress from the FF. I didn't have any problems with the plugin itself, but wanted to make some changes to the design. Johannes gave me the perfect solutions without the usual queries.

A plugin you can really rely on.
An absolute recommendation with no ifs or buts.
