This plugin connects to the external service at aitrackerstats.com for the following purposes:

  • Domain Registration – On plugin activation, your domain is registered with the AI Tracker Stats service.
  • Tracking – On each page visit, the user agent, page path, and domain are sent to the tracking endpoint for AI bot detection and analysis.
  • Dashboard – The admin dashboard loads an embedded view from aitrackerstats.com to display your analytics.
  • Updates – The plugin checks for updates from the AI Tracker Stats service.

  1. Upload the aitrackerstats folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to A.I. Tracking Stats in the admin sidebar to view your dashboard.
  4. Go to A.I. Tracking Stats > Verification Code to get your domain verification code.
  5. Register your site at aitrackerstats.com using your verification code.
Will this slow down my website?

No. The plugin uses non-blocking HTTP requests to ensure zero impact on page load times. All tracking happens asynchronously after the page is rendered.

Do I need a subscription?

Not yet. We’re currently in the open Beta phase, and all features are free to use. In the future, we may introduce premium features or subscription plans, but basic tracking and analytics will remain free.

What data is collected?

Only information related to AI agent access is logged: the user agent string, the page path accessed, and your domain name. No personal visitor data is collected.

How long is data retained?

Data is stored for 91 days before automatic deletion.

Which AI bots does it detect?

AI Tracker Stats detects all major AI crawlers and agents including those from OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), Perplexity, and many more.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can download your tracking data from the dashboard at aitrackerstats.com.
