Arrow Mail Log records emails sent through WordPress so administrators can review what was sent and whether WordPress reported the message as sent or failed.

The free plugin includes:
* WordPress email logging.
* Basic mail log list.
* Sent / Failed status.
* Message and header viewer.
* Automatic 30-day log retention.

Arrow Mail Log Advanced is a separate commercial add-on available from Arrow Design. It adds search, filtering, resend tools, attachment information, configurable retention, Mail Health monitoring, failure diagnostics and alerts, reports, charts and CSV export.

SMTP compatibility

Arrow Mail Log works with SMTP plugins that continue to use the standard WordPress wp_mail() system. This includes the normal WordPress mail flow where an SMTP plugin configures PHPMailer to deliver messages through an SMTP server.

If another plugin or service bypasses wp_mail() completely and sends mail directly through its own external API or mail transport, Arrow Mail Log may not be able to record that message.

A Sent status means WordPress/PHPMailer successfully handed the message off for sending. It does not guarantee final delivery to the recipient’s inbox; a message can still be rejected downstream, bounce, or be classified as spam.
