ATTN Stock Hub helps WordPress administrators and content editors manually search supported third-party media providers and import selected assets into the WordPress Media Library.

Supported providers:

  • Pexels: photos and videos
  • Pixabay: photos and videos
  • Unsplash: photos
  • Iconify: SVG icons

This plugin is intended as a content creation workflow tool inside WordPress. Searches are only made when a logged-in user manually enters a keyword and submits a search. The plugin does not preload media libraries, make automated background search requests, train AI/ML systems, or cache large collections of third-party assets.

External services

ATTN Stock Hub connects to third-party external services to provide its search and import functionality. These services are used only when a logged-in WordPress user with upload permissions manually submits a search or imports a selected asset. The plugin does not make automated background search requests, does not preload large third-party libraries, and does not use provider content for AI/ML training.

Pexels

Service used for: Searching and importing stock photos and videos from Pexels.

Data sent and when: When a user manually performs a Pexels search, the search keyword and the site administrator’s Pexels API key are sent to the Pexels API. When a user imports a selected asset, the selected asset URL is requested so the file can be downloaded into that WordPress site’s Media Library.

Account/API key: A user-provided Pexels API key is required.

Pixabay

Service used for: Searching and importing stock photos and videos from Pixabay.

Data sent and when: When a user manually performs a Pixabay search, the search keyword and the site administrator’s Pixabay API key are sent to the Pixabay API. When a user imports a selected asset, the selected asset URL is requested so the file can be downloaded into that WordPress site’s Media Library.

Account/API key: A user-provided Pixabay API key is required.

Unsplash

Service used for: Searching and importing stock photos from Unsplash.

Data sent and when: When a user manually performs an Unsplash search, the search keyword and the site administrator’s Unsplash Access Key are sent to the Unsplash API. When a user imports a selected asset, the selected asset URL is requested so the file can be downloaded into that WordPress site’s Media Library. The plugin also sends a request to the Unsplash download tracking URL returned by the Unsplash API when an Unsplash asset is imported.

Account/API key: A user-provided Unsplash Access Key is required.

Iconify

Service used for: Searching and importing SVG icons from Iconify.

Data sent and when: When a user manually performs an Iconify search, the search keyword is sent to the Iconify API. When a user imports a selected icon, the selected icon name is used to request the SVG file from the Iconify API so it can be saved into that WordPress site’s Media Library.

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/attn-stock-hub-stock-photos-videos-icons directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to Settings > ATTN Stock Hub.
  4. Add your API keys for supported providers.
  5. Go to Media > Stock Hub to search and import media.
Do I need API keys?

Yes, for Pexels, Pixabay, and Unsplash. Iconify does not require an API key.

Does this plugin make automated API requests?

No. Search requests are only triggered when a logged-in user manually submits a search.

Does this plugin store or cache large provider libraries?

No. Assets are imported one at a time only when selected by a user.

Can I use imported media commercially?

Please review the licensing terms of the original provider before using any imported asset.

Does this plugin support videos?

Yes. Pexels and Pixabay videos are supported when the relevant API key is configured.

Can I import SVG icons?

Yes. Iconify icons can be imported as SVG files when SVG import is enabled in the plugin settings.
