Authyo OTP for MetForm allows you to verify phone numbers and email addresses in your MetForm forms using One-Time Passwords (OTP).
Supports multiple channels including SMS, WhatsApp, Voice Call, and Email.

Important Note: OTP verification requires valid Authyo API credentials and sufficient wallet balance. When unavailable, form submissions will proceed without OTP verification to prevent lead loss.

External Services

This plugin utilizes the Authyo API (https://app.authyo.io) to send and verify One-Time Passwords (OTP).

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/authyo-otp-for-met-form directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Use the Authyo OTP settings page to configure your API keys and defaults.
Does this require MetForm?

Yes, this plugin is an addon for MetForm which should be installed and active.

Do I need an Authyo account?

Yes, you need an account at Authyo.io to obtain your API credentials (App ID, Client ID, Client Secret).

Is user data stored locally?

No user-specific data (such as phone numbers, email addresses, or OTP codes) is stored permanently in your local WordPress database. Temporary session data is managed via WordPress transients.
