Discussions start as comments on a post but you want them to continue on your forum? bbPress topics are not always created in the correct forum by users?
Then use this tool to deal with it!

Move topics to another forum

  • Move topic to another forum
  • Hide topics so you do not need to deal with them again

Convert (custom) post or page comments to topic with replies

  • Delete comments after conversion to replies
  • Add a new comment with the link to the forum
  • Convert unapproved comments into unapproved replies
  • Deal with anonymous user comments
  • Cut topic or replies after a certain number of words

Using

  • Start from your dashboard on “Forum > Move Topics”

Option 1:

  1. On your dashboard, go to Plugins > Add new
  2. search for bbP Move Topics
  3. install and activate the plugin

Option 2:

  1. Unzip the contents to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.

Now use the plugin from your dashboard on “Forum > Move Topics”

Installation Instructions

Option 1:

  3. install and activate the plugin

Now use the plugin from your dashboard on “Forum > Move Topics”

This was a terrific plugin ... until it wasn't. Comments no longer are automatically added to the BBpress Forum and you can't selectively shut down the comments to compel readers to go to the Forum if they want to take part. I note it hasn't been updated for two years. Could that be the problem?

Hello, first of all my congratulations to the developer of excellent plugin, it works correctly, highly recommended to move debates to the correct site since bbpress does not have this serial utility. Thank you very much for this excellent plugin !!!

I've added this plugin to my official recommended bbPress plugins. It is seamless, does exactly what is needed to control visitors who highjack topics. Don't know how one could run a forum without this plugin.

All three of this author's bbPress plugins including this one are amazingly well designed and laid out... Their user interfaces seem to have had a lot of attention to detail... And best of all, all three are very helpful, give me some possibilities I've been seeking for a while, and I've yet to experience any glitches with them...

To be as new as they are and still be able to say this about them seems to suggest the possibility of some good support and additional features in the future...
