This plugin improves the admin users search. Just configure what datas you need to search (or not) and that all 🙂
You can choose to configure what default wordpress search (login, url, email, nicename, display_name) and extends search with user metas (last_name, first_name…).

Free tip: this plugin do more sense with Admin Columns 😉

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Use the Settings->Better Admin Users Search screen to configure the plugin

What language are supported by the plugin?

The plugin supports english and french languages. If you want to add your language, go to the official repository on GitHub and pull request your translation!

The plugin works great, thank you. There is a PHP 8+ issue that should be resolved:

Deprecated: Required parameter $i follows optional parameter $args in /wp-content/plugins/better-admin-users-search/vendor/cmb2/cmb2/includes/types/CMB2_Type_Multi_Base.php on line 34

This plugin does exactly what I needed it to do. I easily added fields to the user search function so now I can search custom fields that I had added for users.
