Better Aria Label Support
Better Aria Label Support
Description
Better aria-label support for WordPress. For now, it only includes menu items, but there’s more to come!
First step: the plugin replaces the “Title” field in WordPress Menus screen with an “Aria label” field, and applies the change to the navigation menus in front-end.
Thanks Valérie Galassi for the original idea.

After installation, all you need to do is enable the display of the aria label in the menu. Then enter the appropriate label, save, and you're done. Thanks!
Doesn't work as expected

I thought I found a plugin that addresses ARIA compliance for my project but it doesn't work based on what the description says. In WP menu screen, I can see the Aria label field for each menu item. So I put in some text there for testing. When I few the site on the frontend, I'm not seeing any Aria tag for the test menu link in the code. The link shows the 'title' tag with my test text. I expect the see the Aria tag instead to make accessibility compliance. This is the only thing this plugin does and it's not working that way.
