Blog Link Hover Preview adds beautiful Wikipedia-style hover preview popup cards to internal post links inside WordPress content.

When a visitor hovers over any internal blog post link, a clean and responsive popup appears showing the post title, featured image, short excerpt, and a “Learn more” link.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu
  3. Add internal blog links inside post content
  4. Hover and see the preview
Does this work for external links?

No. The plugin only works for internal blog post links.

Does it shows the featured image of the linked blog?

Yes, it is also shows the featured image of the linked blog on the pop-up.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Tap shows preview and adapts automatically.

Does it work on external links?

No. Only internal blog post links.

Does it slow down my website?

No. The plugin uses optimized AJAX loading and only activates on blog pages.

Can I change the color of Pop-up Background?

Yes you can change the color of the pop-up background.

Can I change the color of the title, excerpt, and link as well?
