Blost Connector

Blost writes and publishes SEO blog articles to your WordPress site through the standard REST API. This optional plugin helps the articles blend in with your theme:

• fills the custom listing-image field your theme uses (learned from your recent posts, never overwriting anything set by hand)
• fills the theme’s short teaser-text field, when it has one
• hands the SEO title and description to Yoast SEO, Rank Math or SEOPress
• assigns the Polylang language
• adds a one-click “Connect with Blost” button (menu: Blost), so you can link your site to your Blost account without copying any password

The plugin only answers authenticated requests (a user who may edit the post). It does not contact any external service and nothing is collected or tracked. The only link to Blost is the “Connect with Blost” button: when an administrator clicks it, the browser opens blost.ai with your site address, where you sign in to Blost and approve the connection on your own site (WordPress’s built-in Application Passwords screen). Nothing is sent before that click.

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open “Blost” in the admin menu and click “Connect with Blost” (or connect from your Blost settings).
3. Nothing else: Blost uses the plugin automatically on the next publish.
