BookPod Author Tools

BookPod Author Tools allows authors and publishers to connect their WooCommerce store directly to the BookPod print-on-demand service.

With this plugin, you can:
* Upload book content (PDF) and cover files directly to BookPod.
* Automatically sync product metadata (prices, dimensions, paper type).
* Send orders automatically to BookPod for printing and shipping.
* Offer specific shipping methods (Home Delivery or Pickup Points) fully integrated with BookPod’s logistics.

Important: This plugin is an integration tool for the BookPod service. A BookPod account is required to use this plugin.

Service Description

This plugin relies on the BookPod service to function. It acts as a bridge between your WordPress site and BookPod’s manufacturing and logistics systems.

• Data Sent: When you create a book or an order is placed, the plugin sends product details (PDFs, metadata), order details (shipping address, customer name), and store credentials to BookPod’s servers via API.

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/bookpod-author-tools directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
3. Go to the “BookPod Author Tools” settings page and enter your Store User ID and Token (provided by BookPod).
4. Navigate to a WooCommerce product to link it or create a new book.
