BuddyPress to WordPress Full Sync lets BuddyPress xProfile fields to synchronize with WordPress user fields with a user interface completely fused inside the BuddyPress profile fields management.

  1. Upload the bp2wp-full-sync folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the BuddyPress to WordPress Full Sync Plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Disable the default BuddyPress Profile Syncing option form “Settings > BuddyPress > Options”
  4. Assign your BuddyPress profile fields to current WordPress user fields through the BuddyPress Profile Fields Menu
  5. Update a BuddyPres profile or register a new user through the BuddyPress registration page
  6. Check the WordPress user profile to see if is in sync with the BuddyPress profile

Thank you for this great plugin that does exactly what I need! Easy to use and keeps my most important BuddyPress xProfile fields fully synchronized with WordPress.

Could be better

This plugin description says FULL SYNC, but that only sync basics information between WordPress and Bussypress. Perhaps some adictional options to show and sync info by ACF, woocommerce and some others ways to add custom usermeta.

Really Excellent Plugin

It does exactly what I needed in syncing the WP Bio with a Buddypress field. I feel duty-bound to give it five stars but I have some suggestions and I would definitely buy a pro version, I hope you keep supporting it (that is always our worry with plugins, what do we do if they stop being supported). Suggestions: 1 - Solve the problem that everyone wants solved! Synchronise the WP username with the Buddypress Name field. Make it uneditable from within Buddypress. I know there are workarounds but many of us are implementing functions and code to do that. 2 - More synced fields. 3 - Pro version - We want to pay for it so that you keep developing! Especially in connection with multisites. 4 - Post some messages now and then so that we know you're sticking around. Update us on how it's going. Cheers!

I spent two days looking for this. Disabling the BP sync threw me at first, but after I did that things fell into place. There are a number of half-hearted attempts at this, but your code does the deed. Thanks man.

This would be a fantastic plugin if it can sync more field than the currently 5. Still great though.
