Description

This is a simple plugin used to hide XProfile Field groups from different user types based on the user’s role. To hide a field group, go to Users -> Conditional Groups in the wp-admin and check appropriate box in the grid.

Manual Installation

  1. Upload the entire /buddypress-conditional-field-groups directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate BuddyPress Conditional Field Groups through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  1. Select the checkboxes to hide the BuddyPress field groups with the corresponding user roles.

  2. Field groups that are checked will not be shown for the corresponding user role on the front end.

Fields not hidden in WP Admin

It only hides the profile fields on the frontend. If a User logs into the WP-Admin and edits their Extended User Profile, they can still access the these fields.
