Buildmerce Agent Orders
Buildmerce Agent Orders
Description
Give sales staff a dedicated frontend portal to create an agreed order, record a SKU and PO, and email the client a WooCommerce payment link. Agents use individual accounts and see their own requests. Clients enter billing and shipping addresses and pay using an available WooCommerce gateway.
Merchant settings include portal selection, sign-in method, payment-link verification policy, allowed gateways, quantity/amount limits, submission delay, request pagination and paid-order status.
A native Agent Payment Portal block is included. The original [buildmerce_agent_paylater] shortcode remains supported. PHP and JavaScript translation templates are included.
Orders contain an ad-hoc product line. The charge is the agreed unit price multiplied by quantity. Separate taxes/shipping rates, catalog inventory, subscriptions and catalog-product selection are not provided.
This is a free, open-source plugin. All included functionality is available without a Buildmerce account, license key, trial expiry or paid upgrade. The installed payment gateway may require its own merchant account and fees. See README.md for test coverage and gateway requirements.
Installation
- Install on HTTPS staging with WooCommerce 8.2 or newer active.
- Open WooCommerce Agent Orders and review settings.
- Create separate WordPress users with the Payment Agent role.
- Open the portal page created at activation, or add the Agent Payment Portal block to your chosen published page.

- Test the full agent client email order-pay gateway saved order flow before production use.
Faq
No. It uses your enabled WooCommerce payment gateways. Install and configure the gateway separately and verify its order-pay support.
Payment Agent users have read and request-creation capabilities only. They are redirected to the portal from the dashboard. Site administrators and shop managers manage the resulting orders in WooCommerce.
New installations keep WooCommerce verification. You can select direct access with the complete valid order link for agent-created guest orders. Upgrades from 1.0.x preserve direct access.
Yes. Shipping is the same as billing by default; unchecking that option reveals a separate address form.
No. The SKU is a reference on an ad-hoc order line and does not link or change a catalog product.
