Bulk upload Images to automatically create Posts

The perfect tool to quickly populate your site.

Ideal for photographers, artists, galleries, photo blogs or any image based site.
Easily batch upload images after an event, gig, exhibition, wedding etc creating individual posts.

How it works

Simply drag and drop your images and posts will automatically be created with post titles, featured images and the other options you’ve selected.

Options

Featured image automatically assigned.
Image file name is used as the post title.
Works with Custom Post Types.
Select multiple Categories, Tags, Post Formats and Custom Taxonomies at once.
Select the Post Status: Published / Draft.
Options for including the image in the body of the post.
Image metadata title can also be used as the post title

Installation

Upload bulk-images-to-posts to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to the Bulk > Settings page and configure the plugin to work with your posts types.
Go to Bulk > Importer select your taxonomy and upload your images.

Can't understand why this has not been kept up to date! Or is it safe to use this plugin even though it has not been updated for 2 years. My security software won't like it and will tell me to delete it!!

Hi, this plugin just saved me at least a day of work. I had >300 images to create projects of. Even that i could apply the categories while uploading is such a huge help. Thank you so much for this. Great work!

Good plugin but upload success ratio is 40% - 50%

I like your plugin but its not performing properly. If I am uploading 40 photos then 25 upload of photos fail. If I upload 2 photos then 1 upload is failed. To upload around 40 photos I have to repeat the step 4 - 5 times. I think if plugin upload 1 photo at a time and create post, then after it should start uploading next. Sometimes 2 uploads start at same time and second upload always fail. I found this plugin very useful and hope this will work perfectly in next update. And media category tagging feature is also not working. Please check. Thanks.
