Installation

Download the plugin and activate it
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
Enable the Canada Post shipping method
Enter your postal code if you want to enable parcel shipping

This plugin allows you to set which shippers you want to use, and also allows to set a handling fee if you wanted, per shipping service. Great stuff!

The plugin works great and has a lot of options. I had an issue with an update with Woocommerce and received an error with this plugin. I reported the issue and within a couple of days their team had a fix for me. I'd recommend this plugin.

Do not buy this plugin - I lost so many sales

Using WordPress for the last 10 years and this is my first time giving a negative review to any plugin developer. I am a premium buyer of this plugin and the plugin is showing errors on the website also users are not getting shipping rates, Using this plugin for a long time, and It was working fine but now developers are careless. I have lost so many sales and customers. Contacting their support is a waste of time because they don't bother to answer and are not updating their premium plugin. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PLUGIN, Instead buy Canada Post Shipping Method from WooCommerce's official website. You will get good support and their code would be working properly.

Good plugin; Unfortunate gap in support

I had an item that was not calculating postage and reached out for support on Sept 1 and had no response. I sent a follow up on the 18th, no response. At the time of this review it was the 21st and still had not had a response. As an ecommerce site ideally this would be at least addressed within 24 hours for an issue that is critical to the site and central to the plugin's only purpose, for a paid account. I attempted to get attention via a paypal claim which ended in a refund and had to look into alternate plugins. The dev reached out to apologize recently with some retroactive support so I am changing my review here to reflect that with some understanding of 2021's insanity. Hopefully this gap in communication is not typical going forward because the plugin works well when it works, could really use some simple docs in lieu of responsive support if that is what the cost of the plugin is meant to provide. Best for 2022

Everything you probably need is in premium

On one hand it connects to CP and works for one item. However if you add a second item to the cart it just doesn't work and doesn't add the shipping it always just adds about $2. I tried two heavy units of 7 lbs and the other 15. Either one will give me around $30 but the two of them about $32. Makes no sense since they are two heavy boxes. There are zero options to configure and everything you want including "Ship By Dimensions and Weight" is available in premium version apparently. So since it only calculates when I enter weight and size of a product what does this mean? What's it doing now in the standard version? Anyways would be nice and would not mind paying upgrade if the basics worked.

Doesnt work poor support

I installed this plugin and it doesn't work. I emailed support 3 times for assistance nothing. I requested a refund nothing so I am having to do a chargeback. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Updated Review: I have revised my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The developer did finally reach out to me and offered to spend time to assist me in figuring out what was needed to get this plugin working for my site. Unfortunately, by this time I had already found an alternate solution that I had implemented and paid for. Fast forward to 7 months later, and it turns out my subscription was on autorenew and I was charged the annual renewal fee again (my fault for not taking the time to figure out making sure my subscription was cancelled.) Mike at smallfish replied to me within the hour by refunding the renewal and helping to cancel the subscription going forward. While I am sad I couldn't get this plugin to work for my needs, I feel like this developer is deserving of a revised review for his superb customer service. He knew I was no longer a loyal customer, but that didn't stop him from replying to help me in a timely and friendly manner, and I feel like that is the mark of true customer service. Thanks. **Original Review** Wanted to like this plugin. Paid for the premium version to get more accurate shipping rates, as we were frequently having issues with the weight based calculations on the free version, and losing money on our shipping due to it. I was never able to get the pro version to calculate shipping based on weight and packaging as it should do. I reached out a few times to the developer and never heard back. I will now have to find an alternative shipping plugin for my site.

I connect many eCommerce websites and use many plugins. This Canada Post plugin has excellent programming and support. I had an issue but it was all our fault. Even then, the support team provided additional support and fixed our mistakes. Thank you guys!
