This plugin enables you to enjoy 360 photo with Google Cardboard.

This plugin requires PHP 5.3 or later.

How to use

  • Please upload from Media in WordPress admin screen.
  • Choose the “Full Size”, then click “Insert into post”.

Or insert shortcode manually:

‘id’ should be attachment ID.

Not working in all browsers/devices

This plugin works great for me in Firefox and Safari on my laptop but leaves a blank line and no 360 images in Chrome and Opera on my laptop. It works great on my iPhone, but fails and repeatedly reloads the page on my iPad. I contacted the developer on GitHub. He replied that it works for him, then closed the conversation without responding to my browser compatibility issues. I can't recommend this plugin because it isn't working in all common browsers that I've tested it on.

Best 360 plugin for Theta or any newer camera

I have been using this plugin for a few months now and its very good and stable. All you have to do is upload and add media in full size and it adds the 360 to your page. Its a very simple plugin that works. Update 7/4/19 - This app works with any 360 image you have. I have tried others and they are not as simple as this one. I used SiteOrigin and some simple CSS and created a large interactive 360 image for my main image under the header.

Fatal Error on Activation

On installation, get a Fatal Error when trying to activate.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home4/hypno23/public_html/lovetranceformation.org/wp-content/plugins/cardboard/cardboard.php on line 44

So, no go.

Tried on two different sites that I run. No good on either.
