This is the plugin for you! It allows you to change the from email address and name for all emails sent from your WordPress site.

  1. Install Change Mail Sender either via the WordPress.org plugin repository or by uploading the files to your server. (See instructions on how to install a WordPress plugin)

How to configure this plugin?

After you install and activate this plugin, you will see a new “Mail Sender” menu item in your WordPress Dashboard. Click on it and you will see the plugin’s setting page, where you can configure the from email address and name.

Does a great job. Root menu item is a bit unnecessary, though.

It does one job, and it does it great! Since it's a set and forget option, it doesn't need its own root menu item. Grouping it under settings, or even under Settings > General, where the other email's are set, would be a much better place.

I hate plugins that add a root menu. it's totally unnecessary and rather egotistical. Please please make it appear in the settings submenu or even better integrate into an existing WP options screen.

nice very simple plugin, but i would prefer having the settings within the Settings sections and not having a separate section for such a small feature.
