This plugin relies on the Celsian AI service to provide AI chatbot functionality. No data is sent until the site owner connects the plugin to a Celsian AI account.

Celsian AI Chat Service

Once connected, the plugin communicates with Celsian AI servers:

  • Widget assets — JavaScript and CSS files are loaded from chatbots.celsian.ai/widget/ to render the chat widget on your site. These files are required for the chatbot to function and cannot be bundled locally as they are part of the hosted service.
  • Chat API — When a visitor sends a message, it is sent to converse.chatbots.celsian.ai/converse along with the chatbot ID, the message text, and a randomly generated anonymous visitor ID. The AI response is returned and displayed in the widget.
  • Auto Setup (admin only) — If you use Auto Setup, the plugin opens chatbots.celsian.ai in a new tab with your site URL and site name to streamline the connection process.

Automatic Installation:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New
  3. Search for “Celsian AI Chatbot”
  4. Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”

Manual Installation:

  1. Download the plugin zip file
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the zip file and click “Install Now”
  4. Activate the plugin

Setup:

  1. Go to Settings > Celsian AI Chatbot
  2. Choose “Auto Setup” and click “Connect with Celsian”
  3. Follow the prompts to create or select your chatbot
  4. Customize appearance and position as desired
  5. Enable the chatbot and save settings
Do I need a Celsian AI account?

For auto-setup, you can create an account during the connection process. For manual setup, you’ll need an existing Celsian AI account with a configured chatbot.

Is the chatbot free?

The plugin is free, but Celsian AI chatbot service may have usage-based pricing. Check the Celsian AI website for current pricing.

Can I customize the chatbot’s appearance?

Yes! Choose from 5 built-in themes (Default, Dark, Light, Minimal, Professional) and add custom CSS for complete control.

Will this slow down my website?

No. The chatbot loads asynchronously and won’t affect your site’s performance. The widget files are served from a fast CDN.

Can I use this with any WordPress theme?

Yes, the chatbot is designed to work with any WordPress theme and automatically adapts to different screen sizes.

How do I train the chatbot?

Chatbot training and configuration is done through your Celsian AI dashboard, not within WordPress.

Can I disable the chatbot temporarily?

Yes, simply uncheck “Enable Chatbot” in the plugin settings to hide it from your site.
