Centous Integration for Contact Form 7 and Mailchimp connects your WordPress forms to Mailchimp. When a visitor submits a supported form, the plugin can automatically add or update subscribers in your Mailchimp audience based on your feed configuration.

Install the form builder you already use, connect Mailchimp, create a feed, map your fields, and submissions sync in the background.

How it works

  1. Connect your Mailchimp account from the plugin settings.
  2. Create a feed and select a form from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, or Formidable Forms.
  3. Choose your Mailchimp audience.
  4. Map form fields to Mailchimp merge fields.
  5. Save the feed. Submissions are sent to Mailchimp and logged in WordPress.

Usage

Basic setup

  1. Connect your Mailchimp account from the plugin settings.
  2. Install and activate your preferred form plugin or plugins.
  3. Go to Mailchimp Connect Feeds and click Add New Feed.
  4. Select the form type and choose your form.
  5. Select your Mailchimp audience.
  6. Map form fields to Mailchimp merge fields.
  7. Save and activate the feed.

Contact Form 7

  1. Install and activate Contact Form 7.
  2. Create or choose an existing CF7 form.
  3. Create a feed, select Contact Form 7, and choose your form.
  4. Map fields using CF7 field names such as your-email and your-name.
  5. Save the feed.

WPForms

  1. Install and activate WPForms.
  2. Create or choose an existing WPForms form.
  3. Create a feed, select WPForms, and choose your form.
  4. Map fields using the WPForms field identifiers shown in the mapping screen.
  5. Save the feed.

Elementor Forms

  1. Install and activate Elementor Pro.
  2. Create or choose an existing Elementor form widget.
  3. Create a feed, select Elementor Forms, and choose your form.
  4. Map fields using Elementor field custom IDs.
  5. Save the feed.

Formidable Forms

  1. Install and activate Formidable Forms.
  2. Create or choose an existing Formidable form.
  3. Create a feed, select Formidable Forms, and choose your form.
  4. Map fields using Formidable field keys such as email, first-name, and phone.
  5. Save the feed.

This plugin connects to Mailchimp to send and manage audience subscriber data.

What the service is and what it is used for

Mailchimp is an email marketing and CRM platform. This plugin uses the Mailchimp API to create or update audience subscribers when supported WordPress forms are submitted.

What data is sent and when

When a supported form is submitted and a matching active feed exists, the plugin sends only the mapped field values to Mailchimp over HTTPS. This may include personal data such as name, email address, phone number, and other custom fields configured in your feed mapping.

Data is sent at the time of form submission. The plugin may also contact Mailchimp during account connection, token refresh, connection testing, and when notes are added from plugin logs.

No visitor data is sent to Mailchimp unless a form is submitted and an active feed is configured for that form.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install it through Plugins Add New Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  3. Install and activate at least one supported form plugin:
    • Contact Form 7
    • WPForms

  4. Go to Mailchimp Connect Mailchimp Connect in the WordPress admin.

Which form plugins are supported?

Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms (Elementor Pro), and Formidable Forms. Install only the form plugin or plugins you use. The plugin detects supported builders automatically.

Can I use multiple form plugins at the same time?

Yes. You can create feeds for Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, and Formidable Forms in the same WordPress installation.

What Mailchimp objects are supported?

The plugin syncs data to Mailchimp audience subscribers (contacts).

Does the plugin delete data on uninstall?

Only if the Delete all plugin data when uninstalling setting is enabled in Mailchimp Connect Settings. By default, plugin data is preserved.

Is OAuth authentication supported?

Yes. The plugin supports OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication for Mailchimp.

How does Formidable Forms field mapping work?

Formidable fields are mapped using their field keys, such as email, first-name, or phone. When you select a Formidable form in the feed settings, the plugin loads its fields automatically.

How does Elementor Forms field mapping work?

Elementor fields are mapped using each field’s custom ID from the Elementor form widget settings.

Is an email field required?

Yes. Mailchimp requires a valid email address to create or update a subscriber. Map your form’s email field to the Mailchimp email merge field.
