Third Party/External Service Disclosure

This plugin relies on the external service connverz API (https://zap.connverz.com) to provide its core functionality.

When using this plugin, the following data is transmitted to Connverz:

  1. API Requests for Templates

    • Endpoint: https://zap.connverz.com/api/get-templates
    • Purpose: To fetch the list of WhatsApp message templates available for use.
    • Data Sent: Your API key (Bearer token) for authentication.

  2. API Requests for WhatsApp Numbers

    • Endpoint: https://zap.connverz.com/api/get-whatsappNumber
    • Purpose: To retrieve your registered WhatsApp numbers associated with your Connverz account.
    • Data Sent: Your API key (Bearer token) for authentication.

  3. API Requests to Send Messages

    • Endpoint: https://zap.connverz.com/api/send/template
    • Purpose: To send WhatsApp template messages through your configured Connverz account.
    • Data Sent: Your API key (Bearer token) for authentication, and the message payload (which may include order details, template identifiers, variables, and customer phone numbers as configured in the plugin).

All communication with Connverz is handled over HTTPS, and no data is transmitted to any other third-party service.
The Connverz API is required for the plugin to function, since it provides the WhatsApp messaging capabilities.

What is the connverz API and what is it used for?

  • The connverz API is a cloud-based service that enables automated WhatsApp messaging for WooCommerce stores.
  • The plugin uses the connverz API to send WhatsApp notifications for new orders, order status changes, abandoned cart recovery, and customer support.

What data is sent and when?

  • When you configure and use this plugin, the following data may be sent to the connverz API:
    • Customer phone numbers (for sending WhatsApp messages)
    • Order details (such as order ID, order status, order amount, product names, and customer name)
    • Store name and URLs (for message templates)
  • Data is sent only when a notification is triggered (e.g., new order, order completed, order cancelled, abandoned cart, or when a customer clicks the WhatsApp support button).
