Installation
- Upload the entire contact-form-generator folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or upload the .zip package through Plugins->Add New->Upload.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
You will find ‘Contact Form Generator’ menu in your WordPress admin panel.

So sorry, I misinterpreted the silence of a few days of CREATIVE-SOLUTIONS.NET. The plugin is excellent, probably among the best designed of its kind. In any case, I haven't found a contact form more adapted to my needs than this one. The designers provided a quick response to my problems. The pro extension no longer causes any errors with version 5.5.1 of wordpress. I thank them warmly and apologize again for my comment based on a false first impression. In other words, and even if I'm probably too bad to advise anything to anyone, I strongly recommend the acquisition of this plugin to those who are looking for an elegant, very complete and easily configurable contact form.
I bought this plugin 1 week ago. It causes critical errors with the wordpress core. Here are the error messages appearing after its installation :
The plugin generated 4580 unexpected output characters when activated. If you notice already sent headers, problems with your syndication feeds or other issues, try disabling or removing this plugin.
3 critical problems :
- An active PHP session has been created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with the REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.
- The API REST request failed due to an error. Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed).
- The loopback request on your site has failed, which means that the features that rely on these requests are currently not working as they should. Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed).
- impossible to confirm if the wp_version_check() filter is available.

Only 1 form possible, no choice of templates in free version

I found this plug-in hopelessly lacking in functionality to even give it a quick tryout. There is one form already listed, you cannot create a single own form in addition, because 1 is maximum. Which means you must delete the example form before being able to create one of your own. Which means you then no longer have an example. Also, of all the wonderful templates shown, you cannot use any in the free version. Only the unimpressive default white.
Beats me how they want people to get a good impression this way.

Email format is Terrible

People are obviously leaving reviews before receiving an email.
The form is nice and easy to use.
But the format of the email you receive is all fields are on the same line with no spaces.
I have a 20 field form and it is unreadable when it comes through.
Support and forums offer no solution and ignore me when I asked for a refund.
Money wasted probably won't see it again..
Business version versatile and robust

I have been using the business version on my site and it's quite robust. It provides multiple templates to start with and modifying the existing form to suit your need is pretty easy, the plug-in provides quite a bit of flexibility to cater to your needs along with field placement on the form.
Simple but powerfull

I have always used Contact form 7 but now I have discovered this little gem and intend to use it in all my sites.
Free Version is poor!

I downloaded CFG and there is only a white cheap looking form included in the free package.
If you want to change colours e.g, you need to upgrade.

Nothing special here. A limited contact form that bugs you to upgrade. Throws corny backlink "powered by" text at bottom of forms. Better free plugins available so ... "Meh!"
