Contentscribe for WooCommerce connects your store to Claude AI (by Anthropic) to generate high-quality, SEO-optimized content across your entire catalog — fast.

Three content modules:

Products
Select any product and generate an optimized short description, full description, Yoast meta title, and Yoast meta description in one click. Content is written based on your product’s actual attributes, categories, and pricing — not generic filler.

Category Pages
Category pages are often the highest-traffic, lowest-effort SEO opportunity in ecommerce. Generate compelling category descriptions and meta fields that help search engines understand your catalog structure.

Blog Posts
Generate full SEO blog posts (600-900 words) targeted to specific keywords. The AI knows your product catalog and naturally links to relevant products within the content — turning your blog into a conversion engine.

Requirements:
* WooCommerce 7.0+
* An Anthropic API key (get one free at console.anthropic.com)
* A deployed backend instance (see Installation)

  1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active
  2. Upload the contentscribe-for-woocommerce folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen
  4. Go to Content AI Settings
  5. Enter your backend URL and Anthropic API key
  6. Go to Content AI Generate and start optimizing

Do I need a paid Anthropic account?

Anthropic offers free API credits to get started. You can sign up at console.anthropic.com. For ongoing use, API costs are very low — a typical product description costs fractions of a cent.

Does anything save automatically?

No. All generated content shows in a review panel first. You edit if needed, then click Save. Blog posts save as drafts, not published posts.

Do I need Yoast SEO installed?

No — Yoast SEO is optional. If it’s not active, meta titles and descriptions are saved to custom post/term meta fields. If Yoast is active, content writes directly to Yoast’s fields.

Will this work with my theme?

Yes. The plugin only adds pages to the WooCommerce/WordPress admin area and saves standard WooCommerce/WordPress content. It has no impact on your front-end theme.

Is visitor data sent to the AI?

No. The plugin only sends product names, descriptions, categories, tags, and URLs — the same information visible on your public store pages. No customer or order data is ever transmitted.
