Usage

  1. Open the block editor and start writing your blog post.
  2. When you want to generate content, simply type “/convurt” and hit enter.
  3. Convurt will use the previous content of the blog post as context and generate additional content using OpenAI’s GPT-3 model.
  4. Review and edit the generated content as needed.
  1. Upload the convurt folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to the Convurt settings page and enter your OpenAI API key.
  4. Start using Convurt in the block editor by typing “/convurt” to trigger content generation.
Do I need an OpenAI API key to use Convurt?

Yes, you need an OpenAI API key to use Convurt. You can obtain an API key by signing up for an account on the OpenAI website.

Can I customize the generated content?

Yes, you can edit the generated content directly in the block editor to ensure it aligns with your writing style and the message you want to convey.

This plug-in and its related iOS app are fiddly to set up. If it was just that it's fiddly I'd work with it. But most importantly for me, I'm looking for a way to easily convert voice to text automatically, and on my own. What I want is an iOS app which will accept dictation, transcribe the dictation file, and then upload it into a WordPress blog format. This plug-in doesn't do that. It requires human intervention by transcribing each and every voice file I'd record, and at a fee of US$25. No, thanks.

As a content writer, I can't believe how fun and easy to use this app is. Save me a lot of time and energy (as I don't have to type much). On my phone, once my voice is recorded, it is converted to text which I can later edit and refine. Then I can transfer the content to my blog as a draft. Really convenient.

Great for getting content from clients

Great plugin and application for managing content with clients. Clients install this plugin on their website, you push them content ideas to the app, and they just talk about the topic. A copywriter then writes a blog post from their voice notes and pushes it through the WordPress plugin directly into the blog as a post. Finally a system to keep content moving from client to blog!
