Installation

First, install the plugin on your WordPress site.

Then, go to Settings -> CookieCode and optionally choose your language.
When choosing the language ‘Automatic’ the plugin will try to determine the language automatically.
To force a specific language, select it from the drop down and click ‘Save’.

Optionally, choose to disable the cookie notice for admins or all logged in users.
This can help when there is a conflict with a page builder.

Plug & play!

Voorheen moest de koppeling tussen de website en Cookiecode nog via Google Tag Manager gemaakt worden. Sinds deze plugin er is, is het echt plug & play. Het enige wat je hoeft te doen, is de plugin activeren. Daarna worden alle cookies waar toestemming voor nodig is, automatisch geblokkeerd. Leuker kunnen ze het niet maken 🙂

Best and most robust GDPR and e-privacy solution that I have come across. Also optimal in terms of loading time (PageSpeed), SEO and UX. I also like the aesthetic design. What I particularly like about the solution is that it is customised and there is no need to worry about it afterwards, CookieCode daily scans the website where it is applied for changes that may have an impact on the requirements for the cookie declaration content and then adapt them as appropriate. Quite often something changes on my website, I actually test new services and plugins every week. And it's nice to know that CookieCode keeps track of this and acts accordingly, and that I'm legally always 'covered'. Finally, I have recently expanded my website with foreign languages such as German, Spanish and French. It is good to know the plugin supports 16 languages as of this moment. So international expansion is no problem, and my website is also covered abroad.
