How It Works

1. Activate the plugin-no complex setup.
2. Complete onboarding – Choose your content goal, language, and optional recommendations.
3. Opt in when prompted to enable AI features (optional but recommended).
4. Create plans manually or click Generate AI to get a batch of ideas.
5. Generate posts from any plan item when you’re ready to publish.

Our Own API

Content Planner uses our own dedicated API hosted at api.contentplan.app for AI generation, usage tracking, and content moderation. Your data is handled securely and in line with our privacy policy. The plugin communicates with this API only when you use AI features.

External services

This plugin connects to the CPlanTeam Content Plan API (api.contentplan.app) to provide AI-powered content generation, usage tracking, and related services. It is needed to generate content plans and full posts from plan items.

It sends prompts, topic inputs, content plan requests, and article generation inputs when you use AI features. AI functionality is disabled by default and activated only after explicit user opt-in (required for consent under data protection laws before transmitting data). Prompts are not logged. Generated outputs are stored server-side. Technical data (website domain, plugin version, license key, usage metadata) may be sent for license validation and plan limit enforcement.

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/content-plan directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
3. Open AI Planner in your admin menu to start planning.
4. Follow the onboarding steps to set your goals and generate your first content plan.

No database setup or configuration is required-the plugin creates its tables automatically.
