Description
WordPress 5.3 introduced a feature to periodically prompt administrators to verify the site’s administration email address. This plugin disables that prompt.
Installation
There are no special installation instructions. This plugin can be installed in the normal manner.
- Upload the
additional-jsfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

I've just wasted half an hour of my life courtesy of being convinced my site had been hacked because of a "Please verify that the administration email for this website is still correct." If you wanted to do something to convince someone their security had been blown, that message plus "This email may be different from your personal email address" with an Update button seems to have been specifically designed to upset people.
I expect I am now going to get that message on my other sites, and get calls and emails from colleagues who look after sites built for them thinking the same thing.
This change to the core product makes as much sense as emailing "Let me know if you don't get this email".
Thank you for making this plugin.
But it should not need to exist.

I appreciate this plugin responding to the new request for an Administrative Email confirmation by WordPress.
This blog software has gotten into the habit of making intrusive changes that can't be changed by non-techies.
But it's great when developers can see issues and fix them for users!
