Description

Add a live chat widget to your website with DoKalam. Connect your WordPress site to your DoKalam account and communicate with visitors through the DoKalam dashboard, without editing your theme files or manually adding the widget code.

DoKalam brings website conversations into one shared inbox, where your support team can respond to visitors and manage conversations. The chat widget and its available features are configured through your DoKalam account.

Features

  • Connect your DoKalam account and select a chat inbox.
  • Set up the widget by connecting your account or entering the public widget key manually.
  • Load the chat widget on your public website after a valid widget key has been saved.
  • Manage visitor conversations through the DoKalam dashboard.
  • Use the widget features available for your DoKalam account, including team conversation management, automatic messages, FAQs, and widget customization.

A DoKalam account and a chat inbox are required to use the widget.

External Services

This plugin connects to the DoKalam service to provide the live chat widget.

When a widget key is configured, visitors’ browsers load the widget loader from https://loader.dokalam.com/widget.js. The browser then connects to DoKalam as needed to operate the chat widget. Information that visitors submit through the chat widget, along with technical request data needed to deliver the service, may be processed by DoKalam. The information processed depends on the widget configuration and how visitors use it.
