DSOLNEX AI Chat by Designsolution Bangladesh is a free WordPress chatbot that can answer basic questions from published website content and WooCommerce products without requiring a paid AI API.

Free Edition includes:

  • No API Basic — deterministic local website/product lookup without an external commercial AI API key.
  • Website Knowledge — basic lookup from indexed published WordPress content.
  • WooCommerce Search — basic product, category and budget search when WooCommerce is active.
  • Ollama Local — connect an Ollama-compatible endpoint reachable from the WordPress server.
  • 16 built-in local language modules — English, Bangla, Banglish, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Indonesian and Malay.
  • Optional floating chatbot, shortcode, UI customization and security controls included in the Free build.

The Free Edition has no license-key activation form. All functionality included in this package is free and usable without payment.

The separate Pro package can add DSOLNEX Smart Engine, advanced context/recommendation features and optional Bring-Your-Own-Key integrations for OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, DeepSeek and Together AI. Those premium implementations are not included in this WordPress.org Free package.

Ollama

Ollama is optional. The configured endpoint must be reachable from the server running WordPress. A URL such as http://localhost:11434 refers to the WordPress server itself, not the website visitor’s computer.

Privacy and External Connections

No API Basic performs its core lookup locally in WordPress/WooCommerce. When an administrator chooses Ollama, chat data needed for the request is sent only to the Ollama-compatible endpoint configured by that administrator. If an administrator configures the optional Webhook feature, the completed chat payload is sent to that administrator-specified webhook URL. These connections are opt-in configuration choices. DSOLNEX AI Chat Free does not require a DSOLNEX license server connection and does not send usage telemetry to Designsolution Bangladesh.

If the administrator points the plugin at a different self-hosted or third-party Ollama-compatible endpoint, that endpoint is controlled by the administrator/third party and its own terms and privacy practices apply.

  1. Install and activate DSOLNEX AI Chat.
  2. Open DSOLNEX AI Chat Settings.
  3. Use No API Basic immediately, or configure an optional Ollama endpoint.
  4. Build/index website knowledge if required by your setup.
  5. Enable the floating chat widget or use [dsolnex_chat] on a page.
Does the Free Edition require a license key?

No. There is no license-key activation form in the WordPress.org Free Edition.

Does No API Basic use OpenAI or Gemini?

No. No API Basic uses deterministic local WordPress/WooCommerce lookup.

Is Ollama free to use?

DSOLNEX does not charge for the Ollama integration. You are responsible for the Ollama server/model environment you connect.

Does it support WooCommerce?

Yes. When WooCommerce is installed, the Free Edition can perform basic published-product search and budget filtering.

Which local language modules are included?

English, Bangla, Banglish, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Indonesian and Malay.

Is there a Pro version?

Yes. DSOLNEX AI Chat Pro is a separately distributed premium package. It is not unlocked by the WordPress.org Free plugin.
