Dynamic Tags for Elementor bridges the gap for users of Elementor Free by enabling the dynamic tags functionality across standard widgets. No more static text—now you can pull information directly from your WordPress database.

By default, Elementor Free restricts dynamic data. This plugin registers a new “Dynamic Tags (Free)” group, providing essential tags like Post Title, Featured Image, and Site Info.

Included Standard Tags:

  • Post Tags: Title, Excerpt, Date, URL.
  • Site Tags: Title, Tagline.
  • Archive Tags: Archive Title.
  • Author Tags: Author Name.
  • Media Tags: Featured Image (for Image widgets).
  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/dynamic-tags-for-elementor directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Open the Elementor editor and click the “Dynamic Tags” icon on supported fields!

Does this require Elementor Pro?

No. This plugin is specifically designed to provide dynamic functionality to the Free version of Elementor.

Will it work if I upgrade to Pro later?

Yes. This plugin uses its own group, so it will coexist peacefully with Elementor Pro tags.
