Why WooCommerce catalog mode is necessary for your store?

There may be instances where you may consider revising product prices, updating your stocks, do not wish to display product prices to certain type of users, or are running into maintenance issues. In these cases, there are chances that your site traffic might drop, or even worse, you could lose your potential customers. Hence it would be ideal for your site to turn into WooCommerce catalog mode, so that you don’t lose your customers’ interest. A simple solution would be to let your customers know about the status of the product, by using a custom message, instead of order button.

It's a great plugin that does perfectly this specific need of managing a store in catalog mode. The author was kind enough to extend its functionality to the stock status display. I highly recommend them at any time.

Works perfectly

OK

By ronald755 on May 21, 2021

** Edit ** 21-5-2021 It is OK in an old version. There is still the problem of HTML disappearing from the placeholder text field. I have tried all the newer versions but to no avail, even if the changelog says it's changed. Somehow after version 1.1.0 this problem has persistently shown up and has never been adressed properly. I did send a support ticket twice but the answer was that they want admin access to our webshop to be able to help. This is of course out of the question and I feel that should not happen, even if the intentions are good. the old version is ok, but the leaving a plugin not updated is a bad idea also, and can open security issues. So back from five to two stars *** The free version is a very useful plugin. Works right out of the box on a very complex site with lots op plugins and products. Top quality friendly support; the developer came back to me within a few hours with an update. And this is a free plugin!

It works as intended
