Exclude Pages From Menu plugin provides easy option to remove any page from navigation menu.

The plugin provides option in the page edit screen in admin area which you can use to remove the page from menu display in the site front end.

  • Install the plugin from the ‘Plugins’ section in your dashboard (Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Search and search for Exclude Pages From Menu).
  • Alternatively, you can download the plugin from the repository. Unzip it and upload it to the plugins folder of your WordPress installation (wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation).
  • Activate it through the ‘Plugins’ section.
  • Use the Settings -> Exclude Pages From Menu to configure the plugin

Why does the plugin not remove page from menu?

Please make sure you have checked the plugin option “Exclude this page from menu.” in the page edit screen.

Also please note it will only remove page from menu if the menu is created using either wp_nav_menu or wp_page_menu functions.

Plugin Simply Works - Tested on 6.5.2

This plugin adds a small tickbox at the bottom of the page editor (settings bar on the right) to exclude that page from appearing on the typical navigation bar. Simple and straightforward.

I have no idea why this plugin got so many "doesn't work" reviews. Complete crock of crap. I'm running WP 5.7 and this little gem worked flawlessly out the gate exactly as promised. Being said, I'm also using a plugin that gets rid of the stinkin' Gutenberg nonsense and goes straight to the classic editor. So in fairness, I cannot speak to those still stuck with Gutenberg. However, if you're using the classic editor, Exclude Pages From Menu should work like a champ. Thank you to Vinod Dalvi for creating this plugin - works PERFECTLY!

Plugin not working

Apparently this plugin is no longer working and there is no way to get in contact with the creator or the plugin support. The links go to nothing. Would be nice if the links actually work when you need to get in contact with someone when the plugin no longer works.

simple and easy

Works fine. I have one page that I don't want included on the home page menu items. This plugin was easy to use!
