Extralio Cart Extras for WooCommerce
Extralio Cart Extras for WooCommerce
Description
Extralio Cart Extras is a Blocks-first WooCommerce extension. Merchants create multiple linked Product Extras, choose where and when they appear, control their display order, and attach staff-facing fulfillment information. Shoppers can select or remove an Extra without a page refresh and optionally provide customer text. The server validates every action and adds a real WooCommerce product to the cart.
Version 1.0.0 supports the native WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks only. Classic Cart and Checkout pages that use WooCommerce shortcodes are not supported.
Version 1.0.0 supports Product Extras in the Cart and Checkout blocks, Extra-only product protection, optional or required customer text, one display condition per Extra, display ordering, fulfillment snapshots saved with orders, and an administrative Setup & Status dashboard. Fee and information-only Extras are intentionally outside this release.
The supported display conditions are Always, Cart contains product, Cart contains product category, Cart subtotal is at least, and Cart subtotal is at most.
Privacy and data handling
When a store enables customer text for an Extra, the shopper may enter optional or required text related to that Extra. The text is temporarily stored in the WooCommerce cart and session. When the shopper places an order, it is copied to metadata on the related WooCommerce order item.
Store administrators, staff who can access orders, and relevant recipients of order details may see the text. Extralio Cart Extras for WooCommerce does not transmit customer text or other data to an external service.
Customer-entered Extra text follows the store’s WooCommerce and order-retention practices. The plugin registers with the WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools. Exports include only the related order number, order date, Extra label, customer text field label, and entered text. Erasure removes the internal and customer-visible text copies while retaining the order, product line, prices, fulfillment snapshots, and accounting data. Order text is retained when the store has disabled WooCommerce order-data erasure.
