Description

EzerWeb External Link Alert detects outbound links and displays a customizable warning dialog before visitors navigate away from your website.

The dialog displays the destination URL and a countdown, allowing visitors to either continue to the external website or remain on the current page.

Installation

Does the plugin modify my links?

No. The plugin does not modify URLs or add attributes to links.

Can some links bypass the warning dialog?

Yes.

Use:

data-exit-ignore=”true”

or:

class=”no-exit”

Are internal links affected?

No. Internal links are ignored automatically.

Can visitors close the popup with the Escape key?

Yes. The dialog includes full keyboard accessibility, allowing users to press Esc to close the overlay or use Tab to navigate controls within a focus trap.
