A very easy and simple Facebook like box widget & shortcode plugin for wordPress websites/blogs.

I found it really interesting, especially its like box with shortcodes is my favorite function.

Not Responsive

8o% of users use mobile devices. Responsive should be standard on all plugins but it is not. The same goes for this one. Out of date

Excellent plugin, updated to the last version of wp (4.8). Widget auto width needs to be improved for responsive.

Likebox With Shortcode

You can add many like boxes because this plugin also works in CPT. You can show your different facebook profiles.

Not responsive

The widget is not responsive ie the function to scale widget width does not work, it only allows fixed width.

Works OK but no shortcode

Facebook Likebox Widget & Shortcode Plugin For WordPress works ok as a widget but I cannot find any shortcode. I did find a promise of future plans for shortcode in the support section. ********** EDIT ********** They've been working on the plugin and improving it, added the shortcode and so I have bumped up my rating a star

Good plugin but contains hidden link (fixed)

The plugin itself is good and very easy to use. It offers all the options you need to display your facebook widget.

However, today I discovered that the plugin includes a back link to the developers website, which is hidden from view using display:none styling. I'm fine with developers including an option to turn on/off a back link, which is also stated as in the plugin development guidelines. But hiding these links from view without consent of the user is not only undesirable but I believe it also violates the plugin guidelines:

The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission. Any such options in the plugin must default to NOT show the link.

Where the guidelines say, "default to NOT show the link", I don't think they mean that it is ok to hide it by using css.

Also, such hidden links can inflict your SEO score, since Google and other search engines don't like these.

So, although the plugin is very good, only one star because of such very bad practice.

UPDATE
The author fixed the issue, so now the plugin is worth its five stars.
