Description

FAQ Block is a block for Gutenberg. With it, you will be able to create a Frequently Asked Questions page on your website very easily. Simply add a block for each question and you are done.

CSS only!

There is no Javascript, it’s fully in CSS. It’s very easy to customize it for your theme, and super light.

Known issues

I am not sure if it’s currently a bug in Gutenberg: this block requires an input in the generated HTML but for some reason, Gutenberg removes it from the DOM while saving. This issue only happens for author/editors, but not for admins (which is even more weird).

  1. Upload faq-block to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

A clean and simple plugin that just works. Easy to use and I'm using it on 6.6.2 and it is working without a problem. Definitely recommended.

There is really little to add to the title of this review other than to congratulate the Developer Mr. Jordy Meow.

As mentioned in the title of this review, the FAQ Block WordPress plugin is really well designed and coded, it also turns out to be very streamlined, lightweight and packed with lots of features and most importantly it works perfectly (mind you, do not confuse the errors that can be caused by an incompatibility with obsolete versions of PHP, because using the updated versions of PHP and supported by this plugin, although I have been using this plugin for a long time, I have not yet encountered any errors in this plugin).

Basically, with FAQ Block, this simple but very powerful WordPress plugin, you can create you can very easily create a frequently asked questions (FAQ) page on your website. You simply add a block for each question, that's all.

Oh I forgot… it is completely free!

To finish I still give my compliments to the Developer Mr. Jordy Meow and I can only recommend you to try it because it is really an Excellent plugin for WordPress and I am very proud to have completely translated it into Italian!

This works simple and perfect. Exactly how it supposed to work. I tried to customize the colors with css, but somehow that does not work via the FSE css. I might have to do this an other way.

No FAQ schema added

I'm changing my review to 5 stars because the idea behind this plugin is great, and the developer (I hope) is interested in making it greater by including FAQ schema so search engines will recognise the FAQ block as FAQ.

Easy to use and love that it doesn't use JS. Being able to choose colors, add lists or even other blocks in the answer would be nice.

The only clean FAQ for Gutenberg

For now, it's the only block to display a clean FAQ (without any JS) with Gutenberg. Make it yours with a few lines of CSS.

  • Add: FAQPage for Google Snippet. However, since this plugin uses a pure block element, we can’t analyze all the FAQ blocks and create a single FAQPage, for that we would need to create a FAQ Container Block. Let’s see if we can do that in the future.
