🔑 HOW TO MIGRATE WP
Building package and migration is easy and takes only a few minutes.
- Install and activate FastDup through the Plugins menu in WordPress
- Go to your WordPress dashboard > FastDup menu to start creating a package
- Download the package files including Archive, Log, and Installer
- Upload Archive to your new server using cPanel / FTP / hosting dashboard
- Run installer.php file to extract the backup on the new website.

Glad I found this! With it, I easily managed to move my 10GB travel blog from one address to another on a different webspace. Everything was backed up - database texts, images, videos, plugins, themes and even every customization I did to the html and php code on my own!
Only flaw I discovered was that emoticons in posts & comments were not backed up correctly, so I wrote a little bug report and not even 24 hours later (on a weekend!!!) I got a fixed version from the developers!

After using Duplicator for over a decade, it lately started giving issues an several websites.
As an alternative I've tried FastDup and it works great.
I am especially suprised how fast it is!
Duplicator has become very slow over the years, resulting in backups and installing them taking minutes, up to an hour. Even as this always annoyed me, I got used to it.
With FastDup it is just so much faster. Sometimes just a few seconds.
The option to create a template for backups is very nice too, but it took me some effort to find it.
I didn't expect the 'new Package' button would change to the 'new template' button.
Pretty unusual and therefor I overlooked it.
But now I know where to find it.
It would be nice if it could be exported en imported and had default buttons for the cache and uploads directories.
Thanks for creating this great plugin and making it free too!!

Exatamente o precisava para uma hospedagem em um certo "Local da Web", que teve o seu plugin de backup inutilizado depois que desativaram algumas funções do PHP; lamentável!
O Fastdup tem uma versão do mysqldump feito em PHP que funciona como mágica para a situação causada pelo provedor de hospedagem.
