The tools included are layers, color adjustment & texts that can make your featured image a lot better than usual.

  • Select / Upload photos from your computer or hosting for editing the photos.

  • Save to Media Library of WordPress and set to featured image to the post right away.

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/featured-image-generator directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugin screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Use the Settings->Featured Image Generator screen to configure the plugin by fill in Unsplash API

How to get Unsplash API

  • Go to https://unsplash.com/developers and register.
  • Click new application and fill in the application name and leave the permissions blank and save.
  • Then you will receive an Application ID .

Why I can’t search

  • Please check you Unsplash API.
  • Go to Unsplash API check Rate Limit by hour ( 100 times / hour )

it's useless if you don't pay. They ask you to go to their site, otherwise it's absolutely just ok to search for images on unsplash. Not recommend

Great idea! You can edit your featured images just like in Photoshop, but right into WordPress. Super convinient and free.

I normally download images manually from unsplash to use as feature images. This plug-in saves me lots of time and eases of my blogging. Getting the API is a bit confuse at first but the documentation is very well written. Awesome, I love it.
