Food Store is created by extending the core functionalities of WordPress and WooCommerce, which makes it very minimal, clutter free and very familiar to use. All your WooCommerce Categories, Settings and ease of setting up store and moving around the settings panel is still there.

Food Store gives you the option to convert your restaurant into instant food ordering hub. You can open it for customers to show your available menu online and let them pickup at a suitable time they prefer.

This plugin helps you with all your restaurant related options, and uses WooCommerce core features to setup the cart and checkout with various payment gateways.

Installation

Login to admin panel, go to plugins and click on Add New.
If you have ZIP file click on Upload plugin, else search for Food Store.
Activate the plugin. Please find the Food Store menu just below WooCommerce.
Once setup is done you can use [foodstore] shortcode on any page you want.
You are ready to go.

Faq

Does it need WooCommerce to run?

Yes, this plugin is completely dependant on WooCommerce. Please setup your store/restaurant using WooCommerce, then you can use this plugin to make it an online food ordering hub.

Where would I add my food items?

Food items will be added as WooCommerce product only. When used with ShortCode those products will be shown as delicious food items on your Restaurant Menu page.

Will it show the UI correctly with my current theme?

We have used minimal hard coded css to make it compatible with all kinds of theme. As there are hundreds of theme available out there the output might not be same for all of them. But plugin does have a customizer where you can add your css to adjust the little up and downs. Any this customization won’t be affected by future version updates.

I want to enable preorders for my customers, is there any option available?

Yes, we have created a dedicated paid extension called Store & Service Hours. Where you can enable preorders. You can also set multiple store open hours based on the service type. You can also create special days and holidays in that extension.

I want to add fee from customers based on their zip/google map location, is there any option available?

Two Column Layout is not working

Nice,It works Perfectly . But They Need to provide proper documentation then we can understand how it works . i added multiple product in menu and selected 2 column layout but that was not working, then suddenly i thought it was causing the problem because of category . then i added more product in the same category and observed that it is working nicely .

I tried the free version and was having an issue with the plugin allowing more than one choice of produce despite selecting SINGLE. I emailed and the customer support was superb. They communicated back and forth, eventually completely releasing a new update to the plugin within a matter of days. This plugin does exactly what I am looking for and would recommend for any small business looking to create an affordable shopping experience.

They charged me 50 dollars inside the plugin to add a "store hours" function that does not work, after paying the 50 dollars the support disappeared, they did not respond to me anymore, be careful, they are not reliable, they can scam

Actually we have two working hours in our restaurant, like 11:00AM -3:00PM & 5:30PM - 10:00PM. In between the order should not be taken. How should I setup like that in the food store plugin.

A few features of the plug-in do not work like they should, or at least how a business owner would want them to. My biggest frustration is that pre-orders do not work when your restaurant is closed. Customers can not place an order if your store is closed, even if you pay for and enable the pre-order function. For example, a customer is unable to place an order as soon as our restaurant opens because the system will not allow them to place an order prior to the restaurant opening time. It seems the developers are releasing updates so hopefully this is something they can fix.
