FriendPay Demo Checkout

FriendPay Demo Checkout allows users to experience a secure, simulated payment flow inside WooCommerce.

This plugin does not process real payments.
It is built to help merchants preview how FriendPay’s real checkout system will look and function.

This plugin is for demonstration and testing only.

How It Works

1. User enters an email
2. A 15-minute countdown timer starts
3. “Send Payment Link” screen appears
4. User clicks Open Demo Checkout
5. Checkout page opens
6. User enters test card (4242 4242 4242 4242)
7. Shows “Processing…” animation
8. Invoice + transaction ID is generated
9. If the link expires → “Link expired — create a new link” appears

All steps are simulated. No real payment is made.

Method 1 — Install from WordPress.org (Recommended for Merchants)

Once the plugin is published on WordPress.org:

1. Go to Plugins → Add New
2. In the search bar, type “FriendPay Demo Checkout”
3. Click Install Now
4. Click Activate
5. The “Experience FriendPay Demo” button will automatically appear on:
   • Product pages
   • Checkout page

No configuration needed.

Method 2 — Install Manually Using ZIP (For Testing / Developers Only)

Only use this if the plugin is provided to you manually:

1. Download the plugin ZIP file
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload the ZIP and click Install Now
4. Activate the plugin
