The DPDP Consent Platform is a secure, compliant cookie consent banner designed specifically to help WordPress sites align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

Unlike many complex CMPs, this plugin is designed to prevent “implied consent” by strictly blocking tracking scripts (like Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) until the user explicitly opts in.

  1. Upload the dpdp-cmp directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to DPDP Consent in the left admin sidebar.
  4. Paste your raw Google Analytics and Meta Pixel scripts into the designated boxes.
  5. The frontend banner will now handle the blocking and execution of those scripts automatically.
Does this plugin guarantee my site is fully DPDP compliant?

No plugin can guarantee full legal compliance on its own — this tool handles cookie/tracking consent specifically. We strongly recommend consulting a legal professional for your overall compliance posture and ensuring your privacy policy is up to date.

Does this plugin block trackers from other plugins?

No. This plugin strictly blocks the specific tracking scripts you manually configure in its settings. It does not automatically scan or block trackers hiding inside page builders, third-party plugins, embedded videos, or live-chat widgets. A full site audit remains the site owner’s responsibility.

Will this slow down my site?

No. The plugin is extremely lightweight and its frontend architecture is built specifically to remain performant even alongside aggressive page caching.
