Installation Steps

Upload the folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Goto the admin GWL Gallery Menu and it’s submenu to set up options

Faq

How to display gallery slider?

Once you create a new gallery, the shortcode created automatically you can place this shortcode anywhere in your post, pages or widget.
There is an option in setting page to enable gallery in post, page or custom post types where you can create a gallery that automatically displays in the bottom of the page.

How to display gallery listing?

Using the below shortcode you can display gallery anywhere, you can change the “no_of_items” value
[gwts_gwl_galleries_listing no_of_items=12]

How to use slider options?

Go to the admin menu and select the “settings” under the “GWL Gallery” Menu, try to do different options and check slider to changes.

How to enable slider on post, pages or custom post types?

Go to the admin menu > GWL Gallery and choose post type where you want to display the slider.

Can I Add Unlimited Slides with help of this slider plugin?

Yes, you can add Unlimited images slides in this plugin , you can easily change their layout position through drag and drop them.

Does this plugin have a lightbox option?

Yes, you can go to the admin slider setting options and enable lightbox slider option.

How to enable vertical gallery?

When you create a gallery, there is an option to enable vertical gallery and setting by which you can manage your gallery. these options only work when a vertical gallery is enabled.
We can manage thumb items and vertical size in different breakpoints for responsive view.

I tried all the free alternatives to this (10+ other plugins, all the big name ones). None of them worked to create a thumbnail gallery. This plugin works great. It's fast, free, and free from ads!

Things I would like to see in future versions:
- Control of the thumbnail bar location. Currently it defaults below the gallery, but it would be good to have the option to place the bar on the side of the gallery.
- Set the max width of the slider, and adjust the slider height to the maximum content (while keeping the image aspect ratio). Other plugins allow this basic functionality.

Too short on functions

This plugin is only for displaying thumbnails. You cannot attach links to them and you have to create a static page to display the slider in the top page. Definitely better to try other sliders that can display thumbnails and include links.

At first, I had difficulty in deciding the proper settings for the thumbnail gallery on my own. I tried different combinations, but none of them looked good in the end. I searched if I could find a guideline or something like that but couldn't find any. But then, as I contacted the team, they were very fast to get back to me and had gone through all pages one by one and specified the best adjustments for each of them. All pages look very well now. Thank you all for your support!

I really need to thank the developer for the excellent job they have done with this plugin. Straightforward and easy to use. Lightweight no bloat. Includes Thumbnail slider and Lightbox Gallery and slider for FREE! I am moving all my clients over to Gallery with thumbnail slider. Highly recommended, check it out for yourself. BTW, I hardly leave reviews but this is plugin deserves a 10 star rating.

It only allows a minimum of 7 thumbnails, so if you have less, then it bugs out
