Min Max Quantities for WooCommerce – Gatemi
Min Max Quantities for WooCommerce – Gatemi
Description
Set a minimum and/or maximum purchase quantity on any product,
straight from the product’s Inventory tab. One rule engine answers every
surface, so a shopper is never offered a quantity the cart then refuses:
- The quantity selector only offers legal amounts (and starts at the
minimum), on classic pages and the Cart & Checkout blocks alike. - Adding to the cart is refused only when it would exceed the maximum —
counting what the cart already holds, pooled across variations, so a
limit can’t be beaten by splitting an order over lines. - The cart check blocks checkout while a quantity is outside its rule —
and the message names the product, the limit, what’s in the cart and
exactly how many to add or remove.

The full edition, Gatemi Min/Max Quantities for
WooCommerce,
adds “sold in multiples of”, per-variation rules, category rules
(inherited by sub-categories), whole-order rules, contradiction
reconciliation, and a one-click importer from WooCommerce Min/Max
Quantities.
Faq
Edit a product Product data Inventory: Minimum quantity and Maximum
quantity. 0 (or empty) means no limit.
Yes — quantities pool per product, so three of one variation and two of
another count as five against the product’s rule. Per-variation rules
are in the full edition.

Changelog
1.0.3
- Fix: uninstalling no longer deletes your product rules if the full edition has been used on the site, so they are never lost on an upgrade.
- Tweak: the settings screen now names where product rules are set, Product data, General, Quantity rules.
1.0.2
- Changed: when the plugin is idle — WooCommerce missing, or the full edition active — it now says so in a plain row under its own entry on the Plugins screen, instead of an admin notice shown on every admin page.
- Changed: translation files are no longer bundled with the plugin. WordPress downloads this plugin’s translations from translate.wordpress.org by itself, so a translated site keeps its language.
1.0.1
- Declares HPOS and Cart & Checkout Blocks compatibility to WooCommerce, so the plugin no longer appears as incompatible with High-Performance Order Storage on new stores.
1.0.0
- Initial release: per-product minimum and maximum quantities enforced on
the product page, add-to-cart and the cart check, pooled across
variations.
