Gather Grove Booking
Gather Grove Booking
Description
Gather Grove Booking runs the schedule for people who teach — yoga and fitness studios, dance and martial arts schools, music teachers, pottery and craft studios, wellness practitioners, and community programs. Put your booking pages on any theme or page builder — or design them visually with Elementor — take drop-in and appointment bookings, and accept card payments with Stripe.
The free version is fully functional for running a real studio:
- Classes & sessions — recurring schedules, capacity limits, multiple locations and rooms.
- Online booking — a booking form and schedule your clients use to reserve a spot, as shortcodes for any page builder or as Elementor widgets.
- Appointments — bookable service slots with availability windows and optional deposits.
- Waivers & liability forms — collect a real signature as part of booking, then see your whole roster at a glance: who has signed the current version, who signed an older one, whose signature has expired, and who has never signed at all. Send reminders by hand, record a paper signature, or export the lot to CSV.
- Passwordless sign-in — students can sign in with a link emailed to them instead of a password, so nobody is locked out of a booking by a password they never set. Optional, and you choose whether your site offers passwords, magic links, or both.
- Waitlists — clients can join a waitlist when a class is full, and open spots are automatically offered to the next person in line.
- Flexible schedules — a class can meet on multiple recurring schedule blocks (e.g. Mon/Wed/Fri at different times).
- Bulk attendance marking — mark a whole roster present in one action.
- Payments — accept cards through Stripe for drop-in bookings.
- Client accounts — a self-service dashboard for bookings and profile.
- Attendance — front-desk and instructor check-in.
- Instructors & locations — profiles, assignments, and per-location schedules.
Who it’s for
- Yoga, pilates and fitness studios — recurring drop-in classes, capacity limits, waitlists, and a signed waiver on file before anyone steps on a mat.
- Dance and martial arts schools — several weekly schedule blocks on one class, per-location rooms, and front-desk check-in.
- Music teachers and schools — appointment-style lessons with availability windows and optional deposits, alongside recurring group classes.
- Pottery, craft and maker studios — small capacities, multiple rooms, and a roster you can mark present in one action.
- Wellness practitioners — one-to-one appointments shown in the visitor’s own timezone, with a self-service client dashboard.
- Breathwork, meditation and sound-healing facilitators — circles, workshops and sound baths with capacity limits, a waitlist when they fill, and a waiver signed before anyone arrives.
- Coaches, mentors and private sessions — bookable one-to-one slots with availability windows and optional deposits, so clients pick a time without the back-and-forth.
- Online facilitators — virtual classes and appointments, with the Zoom meeting created for you and the join link in every confirmation and reminder.
- Community programs and co-ops — free and comp bookings with no payment gateway required, and waiver compliance across a whole roster.
Any theme, any builder
The client-facing pages (schedule, booking form, appointment booking, member account, login) come as shortcodes for any theme or page builder — WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi, a classic theme — and as Elementor widgets if you design with Elementor (3.5 or newer). Elementor Pro is optional: it adds dynamic tags and Theme Builder templates.
In your language
Booking ships with an Italian translation, and prices and dates follow your site language: an Italian site shows “22,00 €” and “martedì 20 ottobre”, an American one “$22.00” and “Tuesday, October 20”. Dates and times use your WordPress date and time format unless you set Booking’s own, and the calendar starts the week on your “Week Starts On” day.
Part of the Gather Grove suite
Gather Grove Booking works entirely on its own. It is also one part of Gather Grove, a family of plugins for running and growing a creative business on your own WordPress site. The plugins share one admin, one list of people, and one look, so a studio can add what it needs as it grows:
- Gather Grove Pulse — email broadcasts, automated sequences and a contact list that knows who booked, joined or enrolled.
- Gather Grove Communities — private member spaces with rooms, an activity feed and direct messages.
- Gather Grove Courses — self-paced and cohort-based online courses.
- Gather Grove Forms — applications, intake forms and RSVPs that feed the rest of the suite.
- Gather Grove Companion — an AI assistant for your admin, and a chat helper for your visitors.
- Gather Grove Notion Sync — free; sends bookings and form entries to your Notion workspace.
Together they serve creators, mentors, facilitators and anyone running a private community or an online program, as well as studios. Learn more at gathergrove.io.
Free and Professional
Everything listed above is free, and stays free. The free plugin has no locked features, never expires, and is not a trial.
Gather Grove Booking Professional is a separate plugin, available from gathergrove.io, for studios that sell more than drop-ins. It adds:
- Memberships and class packs
- Gift cards
- Family and household accounts
- Multi-instructor scheduling
- Enrollment-style courses
- Custom email branding
- Advanced reporting drill-downs
Compare every feature, line by line, at gathergrove.io/docs/pricing.
External services
This plugin connects to the following third-party services.
Stripe — used to process card payments after you connect a Stripe account and a client pays for a booking or appointment. The booking and payment details required to create the charge (amount, currency, and related metadata) are sent to Stripe at payment time. Stripe.js is loaded from Stripe’s servers on pages that display a payment form, as required for PCI compliance.
Terms of service: https://stripe.com/legal — Privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
Google Maps — used by the optional Location “Map Embed” and “Directions Link” Elementor dynamic tags. If you place the Map Embed tag on a page, the visitor’s browser loads an embedded map from google.com for the location’s address (Google receives the visitor’s IP address and the studio address, as with any embedded map). The Directions Link tag only builds a link to google.com/maps containing the studio address; nothing is sent unless the visitor clicks it. No data is sent from your server, and neither tag is active unless you add it to a page.
Terms of service: https://policies.google.com/terms — Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Zoom — used to automatically create, update, and delete Zoom meetings for virtual class and appointment sessions, only after you connect your own Zoom Server-to-Server OAuth app under Settings Integrations. When a virtual booking is confirmed (and on reschedule or cancellation), your server sends the session’s topic, start time, duration, timezone, and the host’s email address to api.zoom.us / zoom.us using your own credentials. Nothing is sent unless you enable the integration, and visitors’ browsers never contact Zoom through this plugin.
Terms of service: https://explore.zoom.us/en/terms/ — Privacy policy: https://explore.zoom.us/en/privacy/
Postmark — used to send your site’s email through your own Postmark account, only after you connect one under Gather Grove Settings Email delivery. When connected, your server sends Postmark your key, your sending domain (to register it and check its DNS records), and each email it is asked to send: sender, recipients, subject, body and any attachments. If you also switch on “Send all your site’s email through Postmark”, every email your site sends goes this way. Postmark then posts delivery, bounce, open, click, spam-complaint and unsubscribe reports back to a secret address on your site. Nothing is sent unless you connect an account.
Terms of service: https://postmarkapp.com/terms-of-service — Privacy policy: https://postmarkapp.com/privacy-policy
Web push services (Google, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft) — when a member turns on phone notifications, their browser registers with its own push service, and your site sends each notification to that service for delivery. The notification carries a short title and a link. The push service receives it with the member’s browser subscription address, and with your site’s admin email address, which the web push standard requires as a contact for the sending site. Nothing is sent unless a member turns notifications on.

The public schedule — month view, filterable by category, instructor and location, placed with a shortcode or an Elementor widget.

Sessions — every scheduled occurrence with capacity, instructor, location and status, with row actions.

Class details in one click — date, facilitator, location, price and spots left, with Book Now, from the schedule's list view.

Waiver Compliance — who has signed the current version of each waiver and who still owes one, with CSV export and paper-signature recording.

Instructors — each instructor is a profile the schedule and class pages link to.

Settings — currency, timezone, formats and page URLs, plus the Booking, Notifications, Brand, Email, Payments and Integrations tabs.
Faq
No. Every client page is also a shortcode — see Using Gather Grove without Elementor. Elementor (3.5 or newer) is supported if you prefer to build pages with its editor; if it is older than 3.5 the widgets stay switched off and a notice asks you to update.
No. Booking is complete on its own. The other Gather Grove plugins are optional and add email, communities, courses, forms and more when you want them.
No. Elementor Pro is optional. It adds dynamic tags and automatic Theme Builder starter pages, but every booking feature works without it — and without Elementor at all.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account; Gather Grove never stores card numbers on your site.
Yes. You can run free classes, complimentary (comp) bookings, and offline/invoice payments without connecting Stripe.
No. Uninstalling leaves your studio data intact by default so you can reinstall safely. You can opt in to full data deletion under Settings General Danger Zone.
Two small protections are on by default, shared by every Gather Grove plugin. Visitors who are not logged in can no longer read your site’s list of account names (WordPress normally publishes it at /wp-json/wp/v2/users and through ?author= links). And after 10 failed logins from one address in 15 minutes, that address has to wait before trying again, on the WordPress login page and on Gather Grove’s own sign-in form. Logged-in editors are not affected, and sites behind Cloudflare are recognised automatically. If you already use a security plugin, or need the public account list, return false from the gather_grove/security/throttle_logins or gather_grove/security/hide_user_list filter to turn either off.
Yes. Gather Grove widgets show a styleable sample by default in the Elementor editor. To style against your actual content, open the widget’s Content tab, find the “Editor Preview” section, and set “Preview in editor” to “Real data” (for the Class Card widget, also pick a specific class). The editor canvas then renders your real class so you can style it without switching to the live page. This is rolling out across the widgets — the Class Card and Sessions List widgets have it today, with more on the way. It only affects the editor; your published page always shows live data.
Reviews
Changelog
1.266.0
- Fixed: studio credit used on a membership’s first payment now covers only what is charged that day; the rest stays in the member’s credit.
1.265.0
1.264.0
- Added: parents can add their child right in the membership checkout (“+ Add a family member” under “Who is this for?”) and buy the membership for them without leaving the page.
1.263.0
- Added: importing from a spreadsheet with Gather Grove Migrate (0.4.0-alpha or later) can put clients’ remaining classes onto a pack or membership you already set up in Booking, instead of creating a copy of it.
- Changed: Migrate’s import wizard starts with your studio’s currency.
- Changed: more of Booking is translated into Italian (sliding scale, bookings export, seats, the waiver step).
1.262.1
- Fixed: free build packaging (no user-facing change).
1.262.0
- Added: a client who already holds a membership can buy the same one for someone in their household with “Buy for a Household Member”.
- Added: on a members-only class, the booking form greys out anyone in the household who doesn’t hold the membership, with a “Get a membership” link. The same link appears if a booking is refused because a membership is needed.
- Fixed: “Buy for Someone Else” on a pack or membership you already own opens as a gift again, with the gift box ticked and locked.
1.261.0
- Added: Bookings can be filtered by class date (from / to, both days included, in your site’s time zone).
- Added: Bookings can be filtered by one or more packages, for example everyone on a program’s memberships and class packs.
- Added: Export CSV on the Bookings screen downloads every booking that matches your filters, with one row per person attending (each seat of a group booking gets its own row).
- Changed: the Bookings date filter is now labelled “Date booked” so it is not confused with the class date.
- Changed: Bookings Export CSV uses the filters currently set in the toolbar, even if you have not clicked Filter yet.
- Fixed: Clients Export CSV downloads a clean spreadsheet again. Before, the file could end up mixed into the admin page instead of downloading.
1.260.2
- Fixed: membership and package cards no longer all say “Sliding scale”. Only sliding-scale packages show the label and note again.
1.260.1
- Fixed: a sliding-scale membership that allows $0 and has a maximum no longer runs off its card. The price now reads “$0 – $1,000” instead of a full sentence.
- Fixed: sliding-scale prices on cards, calendars, schedules and the course panel show the short range (“$10 – $30”, “$10+”, “Up to $30”), and a long price wraps inside the card.
1.260.0
- Changed: promo codes now work on sliding-scale courses. They take their discount off the amount the person chose, the same as on a drop-in class.
- Changed: on a sliding-scale class, staff can take any amount inside your range. This covers the Front Desk, Book a Client and walk-ins, and applies to cash, card, credit and invoices. Each screen starts from the suggested amount and shows the range. To take less than your minimum, use Comp or Mark as paid.
- Changed: when settling a pay-at-the-door booking on a sliding scale, staff can enter the amount they actually collected.
- Changed: search engines now see a sliding-scale class’s range rather than its drop-in price, and promotions built from the class show “Sliding scale · $10.00 – $30.00”.
1.259.0
- New: a sliding-scale class can set a Suggested amount — filled in on the booking form and the course enrollment form for people to start from — and a Note for bookers shown under the amount. Leave Suggested blank to keep suggesting the drop-in (or course) price; leave the Note blank for the default wording.
- New: booking several seats on a sliding scale shows the total as you go — “$15.00 × 3 seats = $45.00”.
- Changed: a booking made without changing the amount is charged the Suggested amount, never less than your minimum or more than your maximum.
1.258.0
- Changed: “pay what you want” is now called a sliding scale everywhere — in the class editor, on the booking form and in its messages. Nothing about how it works changes.
- Changed: a sliding-scale class shows its range wherever its price appears — “$10.00 – $30.00” on the schedule, calendar and session lists, and “Sliding scale · $10.00 – $30.00” on class cards and the class page — instead of “From $10.00”. A class with no minimum reads “Up to $30.00”, and one that allows $0 says “Free, or pay what you can”.
- Fixed: a sliding-scale class with no drop-in price showed no price at all on its class page.
- Changed: the sliding-scale settings moved from Booking Rules to the Pricing section, right under Drop-in Price, and stay there for courses too (where they apply to the Course Price).
- Fixed: on a free class, the waiver step no longer says “Payment comes after”, and the seats help no longer mentions package credits or refunds that don’t apply.
1.257.1
- Fixed: a site running Booking alongside other Gather Grove plugins could stop with a “critical error” on every page when Booking carried the newest shared core. Includes Gather Grove core 0.89.0, which prevents it.
1.257.0
1.256.1
- Fixed: the free version is packaged without the membership-invoice code it doesn’t use. No change to how Booking works.
1.256.0
- Changed: includes Gather Grove core 0.88.0. Every marketing email carries your studio’s postal address (set it under Settings Email delivery Marketing email details), email always goes out from your verified sending address, and Tools Export / Erase Personal Data now covers all of Gather Grove.
- Fixed: marketing emails (news and offers, birthday, win-back and the rest) are no longer sent without your studio’s postal address, which the law requires in every marketing email. Until you add it under Settings Email delivery Marketing email details, they are held back and the message log says why. Booking confirmations, reminders and receipts are never affected.
- New: a notice on Booking’s screens tells you when marketing emails are switched on but your postal address is missing, with a link to add it. System Status shows it too.
- New: WordPress’s Export Personal Data and Erase Personal Data tools (Tools menu) now include everything Booking keeps about a client: their profile, bookings and appointments, memberships and packs, payments and invoices, waivers, documents, studio notes and the emails sent to them — including bookings made under an old email address. Erasing keeps your financial records (amounts and dates) but removes the person’s name, contact details, notes and documents, and clears their name and email in Stripe. Booking does not cancel an active membership for you; the erase screen tells you if one is still billing.
1.255.0
- Changed: includes Gather Grove core 0.86.0. After a site moves to a new address, a “This site moved” checklist shows what was updated and what still needs you, and email delivery reports follow the site. Someone who unsubscribed now confirms by email before they get news and offers again.
- New: when your site moves to a new address (a new host, or a switch to https or www) and you confirm “This is the live site now”, Booking points your Stripe connection at the new address by itself, so payments, renewals and refunds keep showing up on your site. The connection at the old address is switched off in Stripe (not deleted), and anything else on your Stripe account is left alone. The “This site moved” notice tells you whether it worked, with a link to fix it if not.
- New: after a move, the same notice reminds you that instructors who added their class calendar to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook need to add it again with their new link (shown on their instructor page).
- Changed: when someone who unsubscribed turns “email me news” back on in their account, they now get one email asking them to confirm, and news starts only after they click it. Until then their account says “Check your email to confirm” instead of showing them as subscribed.
- Changed: when someone unsubscribes using a link sent to an email address that also belongs to a member’s account (for example a child booked under a parent’s email), that account is unsubscribed from marketing email too. Confirmations, reminders and receipts still go.
1.254.0
- Fixed: when someone unsubscribes from a Pulse email, marks one as spam, or turns marketing email back on, their client record in Booking now shows the same choice straight away, and your email-list exports follow it.
- Fixed: someone who unsubscribed keeps being left out of marketing email after their account is deleted — including if they sign up again later with the same email address. Confirmations, reminders and receipts still go.
- Fixed: a guest who unsubscribes from one of your emails is left out of marketing from every Gather Grove plugin, not only Booking. If they later create an account, it starts unsubscribed.
- Fixed: an email address that permanently bounced, or that marked your email as spam, no longer gets Booking’s marketing emails (birthday greeting, win-back and the rest).
- Changed: an automation skipped for these reasons says so in the message log: “This address can’t get marketing email (unsubscribed, reported as spam or bounced)”.
1.253.1
- Fixed: on classic themes such as Twenty Twenty-One, Front Desk buttons, payment choices and the client card, and the booking buttons, account tabs and gift card amounts, keep their own colours instead of the theme’s dark button style.
- Fixed: the waiver step in the booking popup and the “10 left” on your class packs now appear in your site language.
- Fixed: when the phone number is required, its label no longer says “(optional)” in Italian.
- Fixed: the class card list shows three cards on a desktop, two on a tablet and one on a phone; the package shop fits three packages on a laptop-width row.
- Fixed: a class pack past its expiry date shows under “Expired packages” in the member’s account instead of as active.
- Fixed: Front Desk and the instructor dashboard list everyone in a past class, with their check-in, after bookings are marked attended.
- Changed: clearer wording — “Upcoming classes”, “All classes”, “All instructors”, “Show all 9 upcoming classes”, “1 / 16 booked” and “7 / 16 booked” in Italian, and the drop-in payment choice now reads “Pay for this class”.
- Fixed: Front Desk’s date controls fit on a phone, it loads the week once when it opens, and “Last 90 days” on the client card no longer lists future purchases.
1.253.0
- New: Booking works without Elementor — every client page is also a shortcode, for WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi and classic themes. Elementor is now optional, and Create studio pages builds ordinary shortcode pages when it is not active.
- New: Italian translation.
- New: prices and dates follow your site language. An Italian site now shows “22,00 €” and “martedì 20 ottobre”; English sites look exactly as before.
- Changed: Booking’s date and time format follow your WordPress date and time format unless you set Booking’s own under Settings General.
- Fixed: the schedule calendar and Front Desk calendar show your site language and start the week on your “Week Starts On” day.
- Fixed: Booking’s default words (instructor, class, studio) and the default email templates now appear in your site language. Your own wording is never changed.
1.252.0
- New: before you delete a client, Booking tells you what deleting will end, such as a membership that is still charging or studio credit on their record. WordPress’s own delete screen shows the same list.
- Fixed: a deleted client’s choice not to get marketing email or texts now stays on their client record.
- Fixed: when someone signs up with the email of a client you deleted, they get a new client record. Before, they silently took over the old one, with its notes, credit and household.
1.251.0
- Fixed: a gift card refunded in Stripe now loses its value. A full refund voids an unredeemed card and a partial refund lowers its balance. If the card was already added to someone’s studio credit, Booking takes back the credit they still have, never below zero, and tells you if they had already spent some of it.
- Fixed: Void & refund on a gift card now takes the refund off your revenue reports, once. A lost chargeback on a gift card voids it the same way.
1.250.0
- New: chargebacks. When a client disputes a payment with their bank, you get an email and a notice with who it was, what it was for, how much, their reason and the date to respond by, with a link straight to the dispute in Stripe. Their booking, pack or membership carries on while you wait.
- New: a chargeback now comes off your revenue when Stripe takes the money, with Stripe’s dispute fee as its own line, so Reports match your Stripe payout. If you win, the money comes back on its own line.
- New: if you lose a chargeback for a class pack, the pack ends as it would after a full refund, and a drop-in booking shows as refunded. The money is never taken off twice.
- Upgrade note: if you connected your Stripe webhook before this version, click Connect Webhook Automatically once on Settings, Payments. Booking reminds you until you do.
1.249.0
- Fixed: a full refund of a pack from the Refund button now ends the pack and any online course access it gave straight away — before, a card refund waited for Stripe to report back, so on a site whose Stripe connection had a problem a refunded client kept their courses.
- Fixed: a refund made in the Stripe Dashboard — of a pack or of a membership payment — now shows on the client’s purchases and comes off your revenue reports. A full refund of a pack from the Dashboard also ends the pack and gives back any studio credit spent on it.
- Changed: when a refund ends a pack, the classes the client had booked with it are cancelled, and they get an email for each.
1.248.2
- Fixed: fully refunding a pack paid in cash, by check or as a comp — or expiring a pack — now also ends the online course access it gave.
- Fixed: a partial refund made in Stripe no longer ends all the course access a pack gave. Only a full refund does.
- Fixed: when a course paid with two cards is refunded and the second card can’t be refunded, the first refund is now recorded, and you’re shown how much is still to refund. Click Refund again to finish it.
1.248.1
- Fixed: a problem in the 1.248.0 free version that could stop the plugin when a member’s email address was changed.
1.248.0
- Fixed: when a client’s email is changed (at Front Desk, in wp-admin, or by any Gather Grove plugin), their bookings and waitlist places, pending household invitations and pending free course claims now follow to the new address.
- Fixed: a promo code limited per client no longer starts over when a client changes their email address.
- Fixed: after a staff member changes a client’s email, the new address shows as unverified until the client signs in, resets their password or clicks a verification link.
- Fixed: one client’s unsubscribe could switch off marketing email for a different client account with the same address on record. Each account’s choice now stays its own, and an unsubscribe from a guest’s email still stops marketing email to that address.
1.247.1
- Fixed: deleting a client could move another client’s bookings onto the deleted person’s name and email. Deleting a client now keeps their bookings, purchases and payments under their name and touches no one else’s. A client whose membership is still charging their card can’t be deleted until it’s cancelled.
- Fixed: class bookings were charged in US dollars even when the studio’s currency was set to something else.
- Fixed: Factory Reset (and deleting data on uninstall) removed other Gather Grove plugins’ settings — email delivery, brand, Forms payment keys, Notion — and the Gather Grove roles, while leaving Booking’s own records behind. It now removes all of Booking’s data and nothing that other Gather Grove plugins still use.
- Fixed: a date of birth entered in My Account or the client profile now also counts for household rules (who is a minor, when billing moves to the member at 18), and a correction on the household screen now reaches birthday emails. Existing records are brought into line once on update.
- Fixed: seeding the sample studio could take over a real account that happened to use a demo login name. It now only reuses accounts it created. With Demo Mode off, the demo login gets a random password instead of “demo”.
1.247.0
- New: another client’s record with the same email now counts as “already in use” when an email is changed, even if that person has no login yet.
- Developers: carries gather-grove-core 0.79.0 (GatherGrove\Core\Identity\EmailChange and the gather_grove/member/email_changed event). Booking answers core’s staff-account, address-in-use, studio-name and email-style questions (Services\MemberEmailBridge).
1.246.2
1.246.1
1.246.0
- Fixed: in Demo Mode, Front Desk no longer charges a real card for a demo class, and real and sample clients are kept out of each other’s classes.
1.245.1
- Fixed: client emails (confirmations, reminders, cancellations, waitlist and course emails) now show the time zone with the class time, e.g. “12:00 PM MDT”, so people joining a virtual class from elsewhere read the right time.
1.245.0
- New: a Front Desk staff role. People with it can run the desk without WordPress admin, and land on the Front Desk page when they log in. Give it to someone on Gather Grove Team (or Users Gather Grove Team on a Booking-only site).
- New: card terminal and bank transfer are recorded as their own payment methods in Reports.
1.244.1
- Fixed: a class booked from the admin and paid at the desk (cash, check or Mark as paid), or extra seats added the same way, now counts in Reports revenue and in the “collected by method” breakdown. Before, that money was marked paid on the booking but never reached Reports.
1.244.0
- New: when Gather Grove Pulse is asked to merge two member accounts, Booking says whether the account that would be deleted has bookings, memberships or passes, payments or a household. If it does, the merge is stopped, and when the other account has nothing in Booking, Pulse suggests merging the other way round so nothing is lost. Booking never moves or changes anything when asked.
1.243.1
- Fixed: Find a Sub — instructors could see that a colleague needed cover but had no way to take the class. “Take this class” in the email and the notification bell now opens the Instructor Dashboard, which lists every class needing a sub with its own Take this class button. Previously both links opened the public class page, which could only sign the instructor up as a student.
1.243.0
- Removed (developers): the deprecated
reports/revenue-seriesandreports/metric-seriesREST routes. Reports data is served by the Gather Grove Reports hub.
1.242.2
- Maintenance: internal test fixes. Nothing changes on your site.
1.242.1
- Fixed: when Demo Mode’s sample classes rolled their schedule forward, the new sessions were saved as real ones. They are now saved as demo sessions like the rest of the class, and sessions already created this way are corrected when you update. A session a real person has booked is never changed.
1.242.0
- New: the Overview opens on one headline row (revenue, bookings, active clients, active memberships, class fill rate) and the revenue trend for the range you pick.
- Changed: “This week”, “This month”, “This quarter” and “This year” now compare with the same days of the previous period: on October 7, “This month” compares October 1–7 with September 1–7, and says “vs September”. “Last month”, “Last quarter” and “Last year” compare with the whole period before.
- Changed: when other Gather Grove plugins are active, Booking Reports opens Gather Grove Reports, where their reports join yours.
- Changed: the Email Export is now Reports Marketing Email lists. Pick a segment and export the CSV.
- Changed: in Reports, Transactions now lists the client first (a link to them) and still has a Refund button on refundable rows; Instructors can be filtered to one instructor.
1.241.0
- New (developers):
wp gather-grove billing rehome --household=<id>or--membership=<id>moves a running membership’s billing to another account, usually a child’s membership onto the household payer. It previews the exact plan and changes nothing unless you add--yes. The member keeps the membership, its due day, price, discount, trial, pending late fees and paid-ahead credit; nothing is charged before the next due date, and no “membership ended” email goes out. A membership with an open invoice, or on automatic payments when the payer has no card of their own yet, is queued and moves by itself once that is sorted.--statusshows every move,--resumefinishes one that was interrupted. - New (developers): a gifted membership can be moved to the giver’s own account with
--reason=gift; the giver’s card is then removed from the recipient’s account. - New: Pulse and other plugins hear
payment.payer_changedwhen a membership’s billing moves.
Older releases are listed in changelog.txt, included with the plugin and viewable at https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/gather-grove-booking/trunk/changelog.txt
