Is the plugin free?

Yes. The free score, llms.txt and JSON-LD are free. Full multi-engine tracking is a paid GenAI Ranker plan (free tier available).

Do I need an account to use it?

No — the free GEO scan and on-site GEO basics work without an account. An account unlocks tracking, competitors, alerts and reports.

What data is sent?

The free GEO scan sends only your site’s public domain to genairanker.com. If you connect an account, the plugin also exchanges your connection token with genairanker.com to sync recommended GEO assets and (when you choose to publish) receive page/post content to create as drafts on your site. When connected, an anonymous tracking pixel records which AI assistant referred a visit (no personal data) so you can see AI-driven traffic. This plugin relies on the third-party GenAI Ranker service (genairanker.com); see its Terms and Privacy Policy.

How do I get my site recommended by ChatGPT and other AI assistants?

Make your site legible to AI crawlers and authoritative on the questions buyers ask. This plugin serves an llms.txt, injects JSON-LD structured data, and (with an account) gives you a prioritized list of fixes plus tracking so you can see your visibility climb across all six engines.

What is llms.txt?

llms.txt is an emerging standard file (like robots.txt for AI) that tells AI assistants the canonical facts about your site. This plugin generates and serves yours at /llms.txt automatically.

Is GEO the same as SEO?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is SEO for AI assistants. Traditional SEO targets Google’s blue links; GEO targets being named and recommended inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI Overviews. You need both.
