BestHelpTool GR Review Cloud API

* Service: BestHelpTool GR Review API (https://besthelptool.site/grreview/)
* Purpose: Fetches public Google Business review data (ratings, review text, author names, avatars, review dates) and widget layout configuration for the specified widget preset or ID.
* Data transmitted: When a page containing the widget is viewed, the visitor’s browser makes an HTTPS GET request to https://besthelptool.site/grreview/api.php?action=get_widget&id=<widget_id>. Only the widget preset identifier is transmitted. No personal data, IP tracking, cookies, or user credentials are sent or stored.

Google Maps / Places Service

* Service: Google Maps (https://maps.google.com)
* Purpose: Provides optional direct links for visitors to view your official business profile on Google Maps and submit verified reviews via the “Write a review” CTA button.
* Data transmitted: User interaction only. When a user clicks the business name or “Write a review” button, they are redirected via standard HTTPS link to the business’s public Google Maps URL.

Installation

Automatic Installation via WordPress Admin:

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to Plugins Add New.
Search for GR Review - Reviews Widget for Google or click Upload Plugin and select the gr-review-reviews-widget-for-google.zip file.
Click Install Now and then Activate.

Manual Installation via FTP:

Download gr-review-reviews-widget-for-google.zip and extract the files.
Upload the gr-review-reviews-widget-for-google folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

How to Display Reviews:

Using Shortcode: Insert [grreview_google_reviews id="preset_dental"] into any page, post, or text widget.
Using Custom Configuration: Configure your display at wp-admin → Google Reviews and copy the generated shortcode.
Using Widget: Navigate to Appearance Widgets, find the Google Reviews (GR Review) widget and place it in your sidebar or footer.

Faq

Do I need a Google Cloud API key?

No. You do not need a Google Cloud account, billing setup, or API key. The widget loads your listing details or customized verified reviews automatically.
