Installation
Option 1:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard. Locate Plugins -> Add New
- Search Horizontal scrolling announcements plugin using search option
- Find the plugin and click Install Now button
- After installation, click on Activate Plugin link to activate the plugin.
Option 2:
- Download the plugin horizontal-scrolling-announcements.zip
- Go to WordPress Dashboard. Locate Plugins -> Add New
- Click on Upload Plugin link from top
- Upload the downloaded horizontal-scrolling-announcements.zip file and click on Install Now
- After installation, click on Activate Plugin link to activate the plugin.

It is simple and you can adjust the color and size of your text in your Customize panel.

The plugin broke my WordPress

The plugin broke my WordPress site which became very slow (latest version), even after uninstallation.
I had to do a site restoration.
Already indicated by others here and no answer…
Slows down admin - do not use!

Exactly as the title says. I had to remove this from a site we have just taken over after I determined that this was the cause of a slow admin. Avoid at all costs!
