Bait and switch - nothing editable for free

This free player is only slightly different from the default WP player. The only thing it adds is a mute button where you click to control volume. Mute? Does that even make sense?

I was disappointed that this WordPress page describes being able to edit to match my colours and branding but every single function seems locked behind the pro version.

Horrible support, does not properly implement Media Session API

After seeking help they just dropped off. They do not support Media Session API for lock screen controls, so when the mobile browser goes to the Lock Screen, the player stops.

And of course they will keep my money even though it never worked. THESE ARE NOT SERIOUS PEOPLE.

Great Player, Easy Set-up

We were looking for a player which gave us the ability to download. The HTML5 Audio Player gave us that plus the ability to change all the settings. Installation was nothing more than downloading the plugin, activating it and clicking on a setting in the plugin to swap out the current player with the HTML5 Audio Player

Customer support is lacking

I am using the pro version. While it does a good job in general, I've found several bugs since I started using it. Unfortunately, the team behind the plugin is not responsive and weeks can go by before someone gets back to my emails. I am currently waiting for support. Quite a frustrating experience.

You can use it but don't expect too much. You can create many combinations with these setting elements. However, the possibilities to implement your own ideas are very limited.

Inconsistent availability of features and colors across player variants. There is potential, but more talent, skills and willingness to make a good product are needed.
