Description

You can simply add images, with optional links and that’s it. You can also tweak carousel behaviour changing minimun an maximun slides to display on screen. Slides width and width behaviour. Transition speed and controls visibility.

  1. Upload bb-image-carousel to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install directly through the plugin installer
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress or by using the link provided by the plugin installer
  3. Create or edit a page using Beaver Builder
  4. Add Image Carousel module, located in Add-ons section

Will this module impact on website performance?

Image Carousel uses bxSlider, the standard Beaver Builder slider script. It will not load any extra scripts so the performace remains exactly as it is before adding the Image Carousel to your page.

Could be a lot better!

Decent enough basic slider plugin for BB but a few things stopping me from using it:
  • If you add slides with no links, < a > tags are still inserted with no href. This causes the anchor to link to the parent page. Not ideal.
  • No image height adjustment settings.
  • Slider doesn't seem to respect the selected image size (thumb, med, large, etc) and uses the full-size image instead.
  • No way to disable the arrow controls.
  • Plugin developer seems to be AWOL (judging by the support threads).

nice

great work! adding images to the gallery could be easier, but there are enough options and it looks great on the front end
